Read carefully.

This update is necessary because of changes mandated by Facebook. It changes the app from being a full interactive app to merely a shortcut to Facebook mobile website. It allows users to continue accessing Facebook using a browser based interface.

This means the following
- Removal of BlackBerry Hub entries (notifications, alerts etc.) related to Facebook
- Removal of Blackberry contacts

This is because in addition to the changes listed above, there are some non-user facing changes that as indicated before are mandated by Facebook. This is beyond our control.

It is strongly recommended that users install this version, as older versions of Facebook will stop working on March 31, 2016.

This was not an update or upgrade. This was a CHANGE to how things operated.

For a company built on communication and messaging, messaging and communications has never seemingly been their strong point. It works both ways. They don't communicate well with their users and they don't seem to understand or refuse to listen to the messages coming from their users.
