The title basically says it all. If I have a .bar file loaded on my playbook, can I load the exact same file on my Z10?
TIA for any responses.

No they are different. While the file structures are similar, the contents are incompatible.
EDIT: It seems some may work, so really the answer is, it depends on the app.
Not necessarily true on incompatibility. I loaded the PlayBook's Podcast app onto my Z10 and it works (albeit scaled down resolution) and it functions just fine. Just really hard to hit the buttons being smaller scale and all...
Should extract the zinio playbook app that should work. I know the YouTube app works although it sucks as it always has and scrapbook works too
Sent from my HTC One running PlayBook 3.0
I guess it depends what libraries / API the app uses as to whether it functions at all. But yeah the screen won't look right as the resolution on the PlayBook is 1024 x 600 compared to the Z10 which is 768 x 1280.
I did a test to see on this based on the response above. There are a few applications I would like to have on the Z10. The first was the NHL app and that failed. The second and this one I am really really excited about was Pandora. That worked flawlessly. I have been listening and using it for well over an hour and it is great. The screen is easy to use and see. No more Apollo for my Z10.
I've gotmany apps sideloaded on both devices with the same bar.
I hae no idea they were different / incompatible

The PlayBook browser works on BlackBerry 10. I'm curious about the PlayBook Kobo app

Some work, some don't. System files probably won't. Games and apps maybe...
