Yes with the reset "key". Do I have to go old school and do a battery pull?

I don't think so. It may be a software issue. Are you running official or leak?

Ok, a few questions here. Were you able to delete pictures in that version before? And do you keep them in the phone storage or in an microSD card?

Ah can't answer either. Hadn't tried delete before. The camera is super sensitive for some reason, gets turned on by inadvertant gestures on occasion, result is a number of blank pics I was trying to erase. Thankfully no embarrasing selfies!
I assume they're just in the phone memory but can't swear to it.

I had that issue, the pics were in the sd card though. I was using a cheap card at the time and switched to a SanDisk and that cured it. Coincidentally, I was on the same os version as you. You might want to consider installing this leak, the features alone make it worth it.

Still on 2039 and only today has Link finally stopped telling me to upgrade to 2039! No interest in leaked OS tx anyway

Did you try a full reboot of the phone? I.e. Hold the power button and don't let go until the blue BlackBerry load screen shows up.

Had the same issue with a faulty microSD card. I replace it and all went well since.

As to Link these "pictures" do not show on Link - on the device it's 8 blank images comprising one album which won't delete collectively or individually. It's no big deal I'm just puzzled here.
And maybe I'm doing it wrong but holding down the power button no matter how long just shuts it off, period.
