My Q5 ( Q5SQR100-2/10.2.0.1803) got a weird problem:

It first stopped recognizing new media files. They wouldn't show up in the "Music" oder "Pictures" app.
That wasn't big of a problem, as the old files were still there. I could find the few new files with the file manager, but they had no thumbnail.

That bothered me a little bit, so I did a restart with holding both volume keys down until my phone restarted.

I tried to solve my problem, but now it got worse!
My "Pictures" app will not show any thumbnail of my photos, and still doesn't recognize the 'new' photos. The Screenshots I just took are also not there.
My file manager shows me that all files are there, but none of them have thumbnails!
My "Music" app also stopped showing thumbnails of my song & albums, but those without an album artwork/image have the standard music note picture displayed.

Can anyone help me?
Or is my only chance resetting and reloading the OS?

Well, bumping!
Has anybody else experienced this? It is starting to get annoying, but I don't want to put the effort in it to do a factory reset/security wipe.

I had this on my Z10 running 1925 leak but it resolved itself after a couple of reboots.

Do you have a media card installed?
To rule that out, pull it out and take a few pictures and see what happens.
I had a similar problem quite a while ago with a faulty 64GB card. It affected my videos and pictures.

No I have no media card installed. Just the internal storage, which has about 300mb of free space left.

I'm hoping it will resolve itself, as I'm too lazy to do anything.
