Yeah. Fixed it by wiping and not restoring data.

I would like to know exactly how the assistant really works. Anyone get the error "cannot connect to the BlackBerry Assistant Servers at this time"? What servers? I just want it to call someone stored in my phone. It's frustratingly buggy sometimes and I wish it could be worked out. Sometimes she works better just having full assistance turned off.

The most useful thing the assistant can do is make an appointment. That is the one thing that it actually does more efficiently than I could manually.

It seems to have an almost 'hair trigger'. I actually miss the version that was right before 10.3.2.440. Do not want to have to wipe and reload. The other tweaks to .440 far exceed and completely make up the difference. Maybe there will be a quick fix coming out soon. (hopefully)

My PA on 10.3.1.2576 experiences slow startup, I used to use search to search for contact, but these days finding the Contact app and searching manually is a bit faster and I have Contact in a folder on 2nd app screen

This makes complete sense. Sometimes I have been forced to turn off "Full Assistance" to ensure that I can make calls while driving as it seems like in those instances where the connection to the servers is jammed or whatever it may be, it makes calling very difficult as she can't seem to recognize your contacts if you are still in full assistance mode.

Oh my god, so much this.

Also, IIRC the actual string processing engine is offline, the online part is to process the audio to know what you're saying, which then gets passed on to the offline processing engine.
