Everything works... music, camera, mms, Facebook, podcasts

    Procedure:
    Backup (took over an hour)
    Install OS
    Security Wipe (another 30 minutes)
    Install OS
    Restore (two hours...)
Boot up and give it about 10 minutes
Took battery out for an hour before opening any above mentioned apps
    Restarted
    Perferct! (almost)

You have to open podcasts and wait about a minute for everything to load. Just drop it to the backgroup. Same thing with music after a reboot, it scans everything again. `

My z10 is very nice with this leak...taking some time to settle but running fantastic!
I did not do any security wipe and I did a complete restore (wanted to see how my z would respond by doing this) normally, I have to wipe and no restore....this time, flawless!!!! only had to enter passwords for accounts which I have had to do b4 with a restore. The only issue I have found so far is picture password not working properly BUT this could be my exchange active sync causing this due to IT settings....no biggie....no other issues found as of yet...very happy

Can you click the Fb notifications in the Hub? The app works fine for me, just not the hub notifications.

Was curious, what was your process for installing this OS?

Similar to the OP, only I didn't install the OS a second time after the security wipe (the wipe pretty much negates the need to) and I didn't restore my backup (never do).

I haven't left the battery out of the device for an extended period of time yet though... having way too much fun with 10.2.1 to actually put it down for an hour! (And I need my alarm set overnight.)

The key to get the Hub working properly is to only restore Application Data and Media from Link. Do NOT restore Settings. That will screw the Hub up.

I ran into this issue (Hub not working) and did the following:

    - Removed SD Card
    - Ran Security Wipe
    - Restored App Data and Media only (again, NOT settings)
    (edit) - Re-inserted SD Card

That fixed the problem without having to reinstall the entire OS.

Nice, good find. Though a fresh OS install may have retained some bad code (versus a security wipe), it'd definitely be faster. But I think your method is best.

I just don't bother with restores anymore myself, do my best to keep everything in the cloud.

everything is working great for me on my STL-400 (VZW) - except BB maps. Does anyone else have issues with location accuracy and not being able to navigate? Can I load the map bar from 10.2.0.1803 onto 10.2.1.1055?

Took a bit longer to pull up the directions than normal, but it positioned my location very accurately and provided an accurate route for me to take to a random destination that I inputted.

I actually noticed that they added some features, like the next upcoming driving instruction (e.g. turn right after your next left) with the turn-by-turn navigation. Though I had voice guidance enabled, I only got tones back, however.

Same here 100-4 vzw, maps slow to load but accurate, didn't try navi
Fb notifications work, although stalled on me once. Seems like the radio might be a little sketch on quality but haven't used much. Did have to format sd card and recopy data. Did not restore, did wipe after first load. Didn't sign onto anything until after wipe. Camera loads and music works. I am getting "general problems" with mms. Anyone edit their apn settings?

For those people who's fb notifications aren't working, you can load an older version of facebook onto your phone and it should work. I believe this one is from 845. Toobs posted it in the leak thread - https://mega.co.nz/#!p51lSSpK!UrjTC3...eo6K4sLLe0LpZI

I found that you can actually just uninstall Facebook, also remove it from your Available list in BlackBerry World, then install the the latest version from BlackBerry World, which should be 10.2.2.6.

I'm having trouble with my accounts. I'm going to try restoring without "settings" to see if that solves that problem.

My other problem is that my 64gb memory card is having issues. The pictures app is having trouble seeing all the pictures and the camera is unable to write to the memory card etc. Has anyone else had this problem?

Everything runs fine for me. I installed then did a security wipe, but did not restore, just added all accounts afterwards. (all my contacts, calendars, etc are synced). A little battery drain, but it's only been a day so everything is settling in. But phone calls, texts, bbm, Facebook, etc all work great. Android apps (installed ota) work a lot better. I upgraded from the 10.1.0.1047 I believe.

    Everything including the settings.

The os install after the wipe supposedly restores carrier profiles and basic accounts which is why the restore works.

Oh wow, didn't know that. Good to know, but I'll still likely avoid restoring my data out of habit, lol.

I think the comment you quoted was directed at the member that was still having issues with his phone, just wanted to see if it was corrupt data or something.

After a reload and no wipe I don't have the Apn section or advanced mms settings, everything else is working fine, not sure if it's worth another reload to try and fix.
