    BlackBerry should add a percentage number to the battery icon so we won't have to go to settings to check charge time and drain

    They wanted to keep the top status bar small, so they didn't put a percentage on the battery icon. Otherwise it'd be extremely small and hard to see anyways.

    If they can fit the time on the top, I'm sure they can fit the percentage too. I wouldn't mind if the percentage is besides the battery symbol rather than inside.

    I have battery lover, it's a free app and displays a battery with percentage in an active frame, I never close it.

    Because BlackBerry has to walk a fine line between providing everything and providing nothing. Provide to much and there is nothing for a developer to develope.
