    10.3.1 - 10.2.1 = 0.1.0

So 10.3.1 is 0.1.0 times better than 10.2.1... Seriously though. It is much better than 10.2.1. Looks better graphically, and is functionally better. What are you waiting on?

It's all that much better. But it's also just as good.

It depends on what you're looking for.

Average user will only see the flattened UI.

It's much better. Brings back a bunch of features left out of bbos.
    -Different color led notifications,
    -individual notification volumes per app,
    -android 4.3 player.
-Advanced interactions (lift to wake, my fav.) and flip to save power.
-lock screen 'privacy ' show sender only
    -modifiable lock screen
*and just today fully functional Google play store. ;-)

Hate the new design and the dedicated settings page for white balance, but I just love everything else.
Still waiting for protected_media to become unprotected though.

Brand new phone, it's that big of a difference! And snapchat finally works (don't go hounding me about snap10, it's doesn't take pictures properly on my Q10).

    New stuff:
    -android runtime zoom out
    -different colours for notification light
-much better deleting options in hub
    -icons look much better
    -physical keyboard shortcuts
-two finger swipe from top of screen to access settings (similar to android)
    -permanent home screen
    -blackberry assistant
    -blackberry blend
    -better stock wallpapers :P
    -native apps look much better
    -unlimited apps in folders
    -attachments only view in hub
-supposedly a dark hub (not in the dev os)
    -better camera options
-i could go on forever, but I wont...

Goes to show how much has changed!

    Android apps run way better.

Lots of great new features like instant actions in the hub and blackberry assistant.

The camera has cool new features...but for me it is a lot slower.

    No flash support in browser.

Teathering / hotspot hack no longer works.

Infinite folders, custom notifications, blend, the list goes on.

For me the positives far far far out way the negatives.

Improved battery life (if you have the best radio, on my Verizon z30 had to downgrade to 939 radio)

I would highly recommend the upgrade.

I feel better... not going to update.

    - new UI makes the phone look cheap
    - noticeable lag on all 10.3.x leaks
    - icons are much lower quality
    - icons text description is tiny with no shadows
    - camera autofocus is slow and inaccurate
    - virtual keyboard performance issues

If this is the best BlackBerry has to offer, I'm going back to Android with my next device.

Hey if looks are that important to you. As for lag I have not noticed any, and in fact android apps are much quicker. The virtual keyboard issues are fixed completely in the latest leak. Can't argue with the camera though, it is very slow.

Android Runtime is better, but there is no point to run Android apps on BB10 through emulated environment and with no access to Google Services. I find UI of 10.2 smoother, richer and with much better attention to details compared to 10.3. Keyboard on latest 1154 leak is definitely improved too, but it's still not as good as on 10.2. Camera is almost unusable for me on 10.3. I take docs pictures and convert them to text with OCR. With 10.3 I need to take all the pictures multiple times in order to get a good shot. 10.3 is not mature enough yet.

I would say think of the jump from the first is you used like 10.0 to the latest 10.2.1 and then 10.3.1 would be an equal jump. If people said that 10.2.1 should have shipped with the first bb10's then 10.3.1 would have blown reviewers minds

The ONLY complaint I have with 10.3.1 is the camera auto focus takes away precious seconds when I need to click pictures of my toddler. By the time the camera focuses... the moment is gone.

Other than that, Loving the new OS. Like someone else said on this thread, it has most of the older BBOS features that were missing in the initial release of BB10.
