I really wish that people who complained about "this" or "that" on the BB10 OS phones or want "this" or "that" feature would at a minimum give the Model, Software and OS release numbers. I have seem way too many posts where someone has posted a complaint or whined about something, only to find that they are using an older version of the OS, and that the issue has been fixed already.

I love my Z30 STA100-5 with 10.2.1.2101 software using 10.2.1.2141 OS. I only have one problem where the phone log sometimes does not scroll up and down, but it corrects itself without rebooting.

What about the worest battery life ever with the ny z10 I've got bored of it, I can't use my phone for 5 hours (even its the minimum brightness and my phone is only 4 monthes old) without charging when havey use, I feel I'm a real wall hugger with that phone and I can't depend on it when I've a trip or such..
Its very poor battery is making me mad today I threw it on the ground becuase of that, used lots of older BlackBerry 10 but that is the worest, and never tell me an excusion, the bb10s are very poor from the side of customization and Applications that never nesist to have such big battery problem with the z10...
Its the end, I've get my fill of head aches becz of that phone, its gonna be the last BlackBerry phone I'd buy its enough......

I thought the battery life is great on z10. My wife, daughter and I all had Samsung Galaxy SII LTE phones and the battery on them sucked. Had to charge them 4 times a day. Then before a year was up all 3 phones had pooched batteries. I use my z10 quite a bit during the day and get about 8 hours out of it before needing to charge.

I'm a heavy user on my Z10 & I get better battery life than that. Have you looked in the device monitor to see where your battery use is going? You might just find that there is something simple there that you can correct. Rocking 24-7 w/ my Z10 STL100-2 Release 10.2.1.2102 Version 10.2.1.2141

I'm the first one in the world from the side of the number of times I chek the device monitor, and my memory is always between 1GB to 1.3gb free, that because I shutt all the unneeded proccesses and my use is just web browsing and wtsapp beside there is no location service on or BlackBerry link they are all off, its just 4 hours (4 monthes old battery just) before the next charging time, that's all what I have, and lots of other problems you've with that device, need aquit,,

The web browser is a battery hog. you can physically feel it, since the phone gets relatively hot (mine's mostly at 38C).
I get about the same as you when using the browser.
Also, with z30 you will not get much better battery life when using the web browser due of the AMOLED sceeen vs lot of white when browsing.

You should check what is eating your battery.

I get at least 12 hrs.

My bbm keeps getting disconnected from my internet.
All my other Internet apps are running fine but I can't send or receive messages on bbm when I send a message it just shows the red clock
It used to do this but when I'd put my phone off for it would come back on but now it had failed this is now the third day

Battery is a Battery. Replace it. Battery dies over time and it is never good for NiH battery to completely drain unlike NiCad.
Chances are you killed it over time already. Battery is like $10-5 bucks these days. and you can swap and you can get charging bundle.

[The Big Picture]

The Z10 has the smallest battery in the BB10 lineup. If you are a heavy user forget about it.

The Z10 was blackberry's attempt at the consumer market and at the time battery life wasn't one of the most important features of a BB10 phone. Anything from Z30 onwards is what I would call the "new" BB10 devies.

Between 5 & 6hrs for me too. I've even had to turn email sync either to manual or every 3hrs. Which is not what I want in a mobile at all. I shouldn't have to worry about the battery when we go out shopping etc for a few hrs, but I do.
