Passport Users running a 10.3.1, your feedback please:

Just got my PP. Loaded .1154. Experienced thusfar: 1) calendar notifications working not at all or poorly (even with Hub++ Notifications app) and which I also experienced on Z10, and 2) bluetooth connecting but not streaming music (note -- I don't have a SIM card yet, but I don't think that should effect bluetooth streaming -- doesn't affect Z10).

So, given the handful of leaked OS out there PP can run, what's the best leak (or how to correct above issues)? Any help MUCH appreciated!

Just got my PP for Christmas and updated to 10.3.1.1154 and so far I'm not having any of your issues. I'm very satisfied from switching from 1154 on the Z30.

I am on 1154 and have no problem. With sending files or streaming music with the bluetooth. And have stock calendar notifications when I have events in the calendar. I do occasionally have a flickering screen but usually when I have a low system memory with a low battery

Can you elaborate? With the past handful of leaks, passport files have been included...

Can you remind me what is the official OS (I just remember 10.3.0..;P )?

And can you elaborate what the "surprise green blinking screen" is?

    Latest official: 10.3.0.1418

Blinking: 10.3.1.10xx/11xx tends to flicker and blink. 19xx fixes this, although it's not out yet.

I was on the support page for the PP on Blackberry.com and there was a release file documenting changes to 1154. So even though it's a leak it somewhat official.

That's the one. BTW I used your autoloader for 1154 on the PP and it installed well. Thanks for your contribution.

Followup - wiped device, bluetooth issue resolved. But am still experiencing calendar notification issue -- not receiving any. Prior to wipe, *eventually* I started getting popup, but still no sound/vibrate/led. And Hub++, with all settings adjusted for it to work, didn't help.

Thusask/anyone -- any idea why I am encountering calendar notification issues on .1154 and how to fix?

I wish I could tell you what to do next. Custom notifications work well for me. Also calendar notifications also work. I'm using Gmail for calendar, but local calendar notifications also work. I do not use Hub++. You might try deleting that and see if that has any impact.

Ok, eventually calendar notifications are working. Hard reset, and perhaps time, worked. Thanks for the suggestions and ~hang in there~ everyone.

Note -- still experiencing the next level bug to calendar and text (and perhaps other app) notification settings as I did on my Z10 and with .938 where a selected music file of my own will not play in place of the stock ringtones. Grr.

If you want stable version for passport go load 10.3.0.1418, it's designed for passport. All 10.3.1 leaks not designed for passport, it's only hybrid file that converted to qc8970 (passport) from qc8960(z30,q10,q5,etc).

10.3.1.1154 caused blinking screen for my Passport, alarms not working. I had to go back to 10.3.0.1418, which I suppose is the most stable thus far for Passport.

I got my pp last week. It's been loaded with PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.1154 since I took it out of the box. First thing I did was restored my settings from my z30. Not a good idea. Had lots of issues and ended up just wiping and doing the settings from scratch. Lots better and no issues since.

    Did a Blitz from 10.3.0.1418 to 10.3.1.1154.

Been up and running for 3-4 weeks and have had minimal issues.

One Hub Freeze and a couple of instances of screen flicker but nothing more than that.

Happily used as a daily driver for me.

Did a Blitz on mine, broke the Android runtime and introduced a plethora of bugs that have been mentioned here/all over CB.

Did a fresh wipe and still having a buggy Android runtime and it's driving me nuts that things as simple as TSTO won't run, but at least the rest of the phone runs and I can put netflix into proper 16:9 mode thanks to the resizing ability now.

Not having an alarm issue or notification issues, though I do use and have used HUB++ for over a year now (since I got my Z10 at it's launch.. been a while.. lol)

Really looking forward to a 19xx build for proper Android runtime!

    I do miss Flash though..

    is that over miracast?

TSTO is The Simpson's Tapped Out :P fun little game that syncs via Facebook and Origin, so I can keep progress (not like Clash of Clans where it only uses Google Services or Apple Cloud (meaning we don't have an easy way to get our accounts back))

    is that over miracast?
That too, but I mean 16:9 while viewing it on my Passport, in the past without resizing, the best I could get was cut off sides when it tried to go to 4:3, though most movies on Netflix don't have 4:3 versions! But Miracast works more proper too now because of that!

    how can you stand it??
Stand HUB++ by god you must be joking, it's a godsend before 10.3.1 because there was no easy toggle for different notification settings. Despite them including those in 10.3.1, for now at least, I'm sticking with HUB++!

To clarify, my alarms work fine without a hitch on 10.3.1 and used it to get up at 6am this morning for some great boxing day deals!
