Hello guys!

I’m trying to replace my BB Passport SE battery but can’t find a battery specifically for SE. It all says for Passport, Passport 4g, q30 so on. My question is, does SE use the same battery as other Passport models? Has anybody experienced replacement or had a chance to know this? I want to purchase it but I’m afraid it won’t be compatible. Please help.

Yes same battery works in both devices.

Problem some have run into, is replacements can be as old as the original.

I hada Passport battery replaced at a place in Mississauga, so far it's been satisfactory.

The one I got was in its original factory wrapper, so 'new'.

Which would still likely be around 7 years old. There may be some Chinese knock-offs that are newer.

Exactly! I have put XLonger in several of my BlackBerry's, among them Passport SE. My experience is good. Made in HongKong I think.

I constantly have to remind people on here that that there are entire factories in China that devote themselves to make old phone batteries. As long as these devices are being used, they will make batteries for them. Chances are very good that the battery you order for a Passport will NOT be 7-8 years old.
