Since the 10.1 Update, i didnt receive any E-Mails on my EAS account, which is linked to a OWA connection. Nothing has changed from the server side. Login data is correct.

What really confuses me, is that it says "Your device is connected to a network but the internet service is not available. please check your connection settings". This message pops up very fast after i save the login data. I tried E, 3G, H+, 4G. Thats not the Problem. The little BlackBerry symbol also appears on top. Checked and tried different APN settings. Nothing. Over Wi Fi it says my mailserver is not available. Other phones work fine.

Did something drastic change in 10.1 regarding EAS and OWA ?

    Thanks !

I found the exact issue when trying the last two 10.1 leaked versions. I had to install an SSL certificate in IIS for our "exchange" website. Once this was completed, I could immediately add my Exchange ActiveSync account. Email, contacts, calendar and tasks syncing correctly.

That is bad news. Still wondering why there are no other people having problems with OWA.

I don't see it as a bad thing, in our case we are still on Exchange 2003 and should have been configured to require SSL a long time ago. I just simply purchased a Turbo SSL Cert from GoDaddy for 1 year for $49.00 and installed it. We don't have any customers connecting to this webserver so I didn't care that it didn't show from Verisign or Thwate, etc. I did not do the self signed cert because I did not want to have to deal with adding this cert to our staff's mobile devices and web browsers. I expect to change to a newer Exchange version in the next 12 months and get an appropriate multi year SSL Cert.

I Just updated The President of our Company's Z10 the other day as well as mine. to the 10.1.273 update and since doing that.
Reconfiguring or adding an account using Active Sync on Exchange 2003 gives me the error Your device is connected to a network but the Blackberry Internet Service is not available check connection settings.

    - We do not use SSL and do not use port 443 it was never a problem on previous OS BB10 update. 268
Everything is forwarded using Port 80.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU CAN REVERT BACK TO PREVIOUS OS WITHOUT A BACKUP? (I DID A FULL BACKUP PRIOR TO MY BOSSES BUT NOT MINE)

Please let me know.... (Also I Called Bell Tech Support.... Which they than transfered me into a Blackberry Support Specialist....)
Who clearly was reading notes off a screen and she said that Port 80 is no longer available to use active sync with Exchange and must be used with SSL on port 443....

Why did they ruin it ?

There is a KB article with regards to the issue.

BlackBerry knows about it and are apparently working on it but there is no timeline for a fix. I really wish they would have made it known before the update as I would have refrained from updating for that reason alone.

Only workaround is to use SSL as port 80 for exchange will no longer work.

Well I don't know if they "ruined it", since it's kind of a bad idea in general to do EAS over the internet without encryption. But Blackberry DEFINITELY should have advised people of this well in advance before making such a change. THAT part is very sloppy and unprofessional.

I actually had the same problem and managed to get my hand on the older, pre-update firmware with an autoloader. I'm back on exchange using port 80 but at least it works. Battery life isn't as good as the most recent update, however. If anyone would like it, I could share it but just not sure how....

I'm having the same issue and opened a ticket at my provider's support. They tried to add another Exchange account with no SSL and they got the same error. They warned BB about this.
In the meanwhile I had to downgrade to 10.0.10.261 and Exchange is syncing again.

Did you re-enter your password in setup after installing 10.1?
