    After upgrading to the new OS, I left my passport to charge from flat to full, when I went to pick it up. It was hot to the touch. Like never before and it didn't turn on, I took it off charge and let it cool down, and it works fine now.

    Is this the new OS just settling in, or should I be more worried?

    Most likely it's the OS settling in.
    Give it a couple days to see if it the symptoms stop.
