All of sudden Outlook.com has stopped syncing contacts while mails are working fine. What could be reason? 2-3 days before I configured same email id on android phone and I was surprised to note that android doesn't sync contacts from outlook.com at all. whether another syncing with another device has broken syncing on blackberry?
syncing of contacts on outlook.com was going on so well that I didn't bother about anything. I kept on adding contacts during these days without noticing, syncing was not taking place. I didn't create local contacts at all. If I delete account then all contacts will be lost particularly recently added ones.

Not good... I also synch to outlook... I just entered a new contact yesterday! I'll verify my entries and report back (subscribed).

May I suggest to backup with "BackUp-Pro" App or FireChestBackUp (same as BackUpPro, less options)... Just to be in security not to lose any contact... If a paid app is worth its money then one of these!!!

He meant outlook.com, the online "free" account.

Finally, I have decided to go for local contacts method. Taking backup thru Link or ContactX and relying on local contacts. I had experienced first with gmail and now with outlook.com. Syncing is not very uniform so Risk of loosing some updated contacts are always in mind.

The drawback is that you'll suffer from double/more contacts and that when you want to edit one, you'll not know which one is the one on your device
