Looked everywhere but can't find any information on this... I thought OneDrive and emailed shared the space but just learnt otherwise.

I learnt it's 5gb and will increase with usage but how to check how much quota is left with me. Very confusing

    Not sure that you can.

Definitely can't check storage used. Wish they had some guidelines on how to know what used amount is and how they decide when to increase. Technically, it's unlimited but they start you with 5GB and increase slowly based on your usage. It's possible to hit that limit and have sent and received messages bounce.

I have office 365 home, so I have unlimited onedrive and outlook storage. Can install full office 2013 on 5 machines as well. We'll worth the $9.99 per month.

They removed that feature a few updates ago. It used to be under Options/Mailbox Usage.

Based on reports online, it almost appears like Outlook.com has unlimited storage for email. But, if you start getting extreme, they, Microsoft, will email you to advise of this.

I personally wouldn't worry about it for now...

It's only set at 5GB to start and will increase as you need it.
