I've been trying to migrate my Gmail accounts to Outlook.com. I can successfully access my emails for all my many aliases on my PC, android tablet but not my Z10. If I add 2 aliases then they both eventually come up account invalid. If I add just the one it works fine.

I've read other posts suggesting adding my main alias and not syncing my email with it, then adding my other aliases using the alias email address as both the username and email address so I don't duplicate any email usernames or addresses but this still results in account invalid.

Has anyone got erhaps you'd be kind enough to tell me what I doing wrong please!
    Thanks

Are you just adding your outlook.com account to your phone?

i found the same problem assumed it just was not possible
i got the outlook app sidleoaded but found the notifications too annoying!
if there is a proper alias method to add that would be handy but would you not get multiple coppies of emails to your hub since any alias come come to me as it is. what I mean is emails to my alias come to my main email that i link with my phone.

If you look at outlook.com web mail. Aliases are just folders.
To receive email on the alias account you need to go to settings>accounts
    Click on the primary account.
    Edit folder settings
Check mark the alias account and sub folders desired.

Yes and no, I add my MasterPrimary(at)outlook.com, turn off syncing email. then Add AliasOne(at)outlook.com and AliasTwo(at)outlook.com, then it all falls over.... if I add the masterprimary(at)outlook.com then it works fine but I can't send emails using any aliases

Yes but you can't send emails using that alias. That's what I want to do!

    I just did some testing:
    Test 1: associated primary@outlook.com only.
Enabled sync for alias@outlook.com through edit folder.
Pro: able to receive email from alias@outlook.com
Con: unable to send/reply/forward properly as it sends using integrated account (primary)

    Test 2: associated primary@outlook.com and alias@outlook.com
Disabled sync of alias folders in primary account
Enabled sync of alias folders in alias account.
Pro: able to send and receive with alias account and has own signature.
Con: unable to disable inbox as a sync as BlackBerry defaults it enabled and grayed out. In this case the inbox = primary inbox
Major con: both accounts sporadically lose account sync and have to retype passwords.

That's basically what I found too. Anyone else got a solution?

Test 3 works a little better:
    Associate primary@outlook.com
Associate alias@outlook.com in advanced mode. Username/password is primary account. Email address field has alias email.
Pro: can send/receive using both accounts separately. And separate signatures
Con: alias account gets duplicated primary account (inbox only as you can't disable it) the more filters and sub folders you use the better this will will be reduced

So far no account sync issues...yet. will monitor

NM. Spoke to soon. They toggle each other out of sync.
Alias forces primary to lose sync
Reapply password to primary and that eventually forces alias out of sync. Annoying.
Looks like I'll pull logs and submit to BlackBerry as that is dumb.

Yes, that's exactly what I found. Do you think this is blackberrys problem or MS? Oh well, looks like its back to Gmail for now (hopefully only for a short time)

I don't suppose the OS update that just came through will cure this but time to rinse and repeat....

If you notice my signature. I'm on latest.
I'm not sure whoa issue it is but I doubt MS will change anything. They still haven't even added contact photos to outlook.com.

I already have them setup in outlook.com. The question is using both from a BlackBerry without syncing duplicate accounts, specifically the ability to send new emails using any of the aliases.

Does it give a choice when you choose compose in the hub?
