Has anyone heard of a release date being set for 10.3.1 to existing Verizon devices (i.e., Z10, Q10, etc?) With the Classic's release it would be nice to have comparative functionality on my Q10.

First they need to get an OS that doesn't brick phones, cause WiFi issues, hotspot issues from bb. Then it will take them months to test it so figure next year sometime.

As someone with a Z10 that put on the 10.3.1 leak, I now see why Verizon holds back sometimes (and I have Verizon). 10.3.1 apparently doesn't always work as seamlessly on the older devices as it does on the ones that were shipped with it (Classic). I'm not sure why considering it's basically the same phone inside, but perhaps the OS is slightly altered for the new layout and somehow that is enough of a difference to cause glitches on older devices. My search function is now useless with the update, and the battery gauge is also useless. Ironically, though, it seems I get a bit better battery life.

Question for you as a fellow Z10 user on Verizon... With issues you have had with 10.3.1 would you recommend the leak or wait it out? I have been wanting to load the leak but was patient with Verizon. After hearing BB pulled the update for older BB10 devices to avoid anymore issues, I fear we will be waiting for a long time. They would need to release another new OS to Verizon and go through testing all over again.

I hope they never release it.

10.2.1 is the best interface and very reliable.

BlackBerry and Verizon should've worked out all the kinks before so the update came out the same day as the Classic release.

I agree! I have been running 10.3.1 on my vzw z10 since it was released last fall with no major issues. I wouldn't think of rolling back to 10.2.1

That's a tough question. The update lights up the screen for alerts, which is priceless. It also has a nice look to the icons. But it killed the assistant. I'm mean it really sucks now, it's nearly usesess. Battery life is actually better now. I suppose you could always go back to 10.2 if 10.3 sucked.

I just went ahead and got the Classic which runs 10.3 flawlessly (or as good as it is, I suppose). My Z10 is now a backup / music player.

I went ahead and upgraded through Sachesi, (First Time using this method vs an autoloader) it installed 10.3.1.1779 which is a Rogers OS. It was a little weird deleting Rogers apps on my Verizon phone but it is the same stuff Verizon puts on their new installs. I have been running it for 24hrs and have been pleased. Everything is much snappier and android apps run much better, even some that had quit working run flawlessly now. Battery efficiency is greatly improved for me as well. You have to let the phone settle in for a couple hours after installing and turning back on for the lag to go out and run smooth. I am also hoping Verizon's release, when it happens, will be a newer build so I can update to their official without downgrading.

While 10.3.1 would be nice, I really want Blend.

Agreed, Blend is great, and seems to work fine so far with my Verizon Z10 on 10.3.1.1581 (autoloaded).

And FWIW, I recently tweeted Verizon about 10.3.1's availability, and they just directed me to their standard device OS update web page which didn't mention anything about it.
