Damn, copying files from network over USB via regular (non-mass storage) mode stil f'n freezes up within a minute... PoS.

PS: aaaand mass-storage mode does not even work, it's unreadable by Win8.1 - arrgh...

So essentially in 20 minutes I was only able to copy few mp3s onto the Z30, then it frozed then nothing else worked again. Awesome. Truly enterprise (PoS).

Ive never used Sachesi before. At the moment I just dragged the blitz folder into Sachesi, it said "be patient while extracting", finished. Now Sachesi is saying that its installing the OS and Radio but I dont see anything happening. My phone is still on and I can use it like nothing is happening. Am I doing something wrong or what?

Taking the plunge now. At 106 of 170......

170???? Thought there were more.......downloaded Robbenezer's BlitzOS938.zip. Back to re-read thread.......

Oh crud.....didn't put device into Airplane Mode. Oh, well, never did before either.

There should be 204 with mine, all I did was rezip it, instead of raring it.

EDIT: 208 to be exact, 4 are radios that will not get installed to your device

Scratch this. How long does this usually take? Its been about 5 min and Im only on 7 of 170 -___-

It can take awhile, First few files usually take longest as I believe Core OS is installed first. After a while it will jus fly thru

Anybody experiencing my android port issue of android apps not loading at all. Everything else seems to be working for me after blitzing from 10.2.1...don't want to have to wipe...any other suggestions? Or ideas on what could fix my issue? Perhaps I should blitz 800 or an earlier 10.3.0 first and then blitz this 938 again? There's obviously some kinda android runtime configuration issue. Is there somewhere I can download the latest runtime and install over my leak to see if that may work? I would assume this leak has it though so I dunno...

Don't use your phone at all. I'd start over personally. Once the download is extracted and the folder is saved on your desktop (or in your download folder) then turn your phone on airplane mode, take out your SD card and plug the phone into the computer. Open Sachesi 1.9.9 (latest version-earlier version won't work with .939) and once it's open, drag the folder from the desktop (or download) into Sachesi (or click on install folder in Sachesi and then browse to find the download folder and click on it). then sit back and do not touch your phone until it reboots--about 45 mins to an hour--its a big update. Once it reboots and the Blackberry name in white comes on, you are almost done. After your home page comes up, it will take a couple of minutes for the hub to index and contacts to index but it should be smooth sailing from there on. Good luck!

I just dropped the zip file on Sachesi's Install tab. It started the install saying 'x of 170'.
Unzipped the file....209 files. So maybe Sachesi figured out I only needed 170 files to update from 800.

So I re-blitzed using "ALL" the files zip instead of just the blitz from .800 (since I was previously running 10.2.1) and I'm STILL experiencing issues with my Android ports and runtime not loading. They load about 75% of the way and just sit there for a few minutes, then close. Any suggestions? Is there a certain android runtime I can load on top of this leak?

Yes, I've done a hard reset by holding down both volume keys...no luck there either...

Interesting. Successfully (or so it appears) updated to 938 using Sachesi 2.0.0 alpha, but afterwards (including several restarts) had to use 1.9.9 to load Snap.

Of course, the Android app I wanted to load, WSDOT, requires Google Play Services to run, so all for naught. Wonder how many more of those I'm gonna run into....sigh.......

Which device are you using? There is no radio for the stl100-1 or the Passport

If anything else, try reloading just the radio would be my guess

Extract the files from the .zip and look for the qc8960-10.3.1.939-nto+armle-v7+signed file, drag and drop into Sachesi, shouldn't take long to load up.
If you load any other radio it will tell you that it is the wrong radio.

How can you install the wrong radio or no radio if you use either of the zip files in the OP?

Thanks for the great work on this program, very much appreciated. I have been reading through the thread, and I am getting the feeling that SACHESI is a wonderfully powerful tool. . I have used the backup, and it works great. The concept of non destructive upgrades is great, and the concept of drag and drop also great. Clearly this is a very powerful tool to see what is installed and control what you put on and take off, in addition to other things like extracting partial files (which just went over my head).

But there remains a number of issues, for example 2.0.0 is available, but you need to use 1.9.9 to load SNAP. I am not hearing a lot of wonderful kudo's and gleeful comments about the success of the updates. There appear to be a number of users for which this did not work. it is unclear if this is a user issue, or specific bugs being discovered. So I have a general question, and I ask this with all the respect for the programmer; Is this ready for use yet, or will it create additional issues to make it work properly? I recently upgraded to 10.3.0.1418, and spend a lot of time reinstalling and recovering from that upgrade on my Z30. So generally, do I use this and upgrade, or wait for a more stable version. Comments?

I've found that file and dragged it over to Sachesi. It says:

How will I know when its finished?
Will the phone reboot?

Sachesi does not indicate its doing anything. I hit "install files" and it says "error: your device can only process one task at a time. Please wait for the previous install to complete."
Any suggestions?

Judging by time in between your posts you have been sitting on it a bit, I generally close, restart Sachesi and try again

Does absolutely nothing unfortunately...when I click open an .apk it briefly says "processing" and then just spins in a circle and says initializing.

Any other suggestions on what I could potentially do to open/install android apps...if not I'm just going to blitz back to .800 and see if they'll work there... weird I'm the only one experiencing this. has to be some kind of missing file between 10.2.1 and .938 that I don't have

Fixed Blitz938.zip (Z3, Z10 -2/3/4, P9982, Q5, Q10, P9983, Z30) (file size 1.51GB only has changed files)
Or
Robbenezer's mix of ALL files???
