Blitz file didn't work for my Q10 (SQN100-1). I downloaded the radio and OS directly, added to the Blitz folder, and then it went. I think it is because the blitz was made with .signed files rather than .signed.bar as was the 800 blitz. I don't know why that makes a difference but it did. Probably I could have gotten the same thing by also downloading the debrick file and pulling out the apps since I had the radio and OS.

I have no idea how to download radio or OS or what debricking means or anything ha. I just want to be able to install folder and go! Or learn more about all this so I can figure out fixes on my own.

Appreciate all the help, advice and hard work though, even if things don't always work early on.

Yeah I know but the drag and drop didn't work last time or this time so I just extracted (unzipped or whatever on my desktop) and then installed folder. It worked last time for me. How many files are in the Blitz 938 folder? If you just drag and drop I guess you might not know. My Blitz 800 folder had 209 I believe. Blitz 938 has 173.

Mine had full 204 cuz I forget to pull out certain unneeded/not updated apps so it's usually 204 plus the 5 radios. I couldn't just drag and drop before extracting either I get the "none of the selected files were installable" message in that picture I posted lol

Download the right radio for your phone (Q10) (http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar)

Once it's finished - delete that 8930 radio out of the folder (its for the Z3) and put the Q10 radio link above and then you should be good to install.

Or download Robbenezer blitz file he just uploaded/posted - sounds like he got everything added in.

I think the OP forgot to put into his Blitz zip file the 8960 radio which can be found here: http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/q...-v7+signed.bar

If, that is the case, you would think you can just grab this radio file and drop it into the bltiz install folder...

Looks like the original 'blitz' folder doesn't have the right type of files in it for the OS or the radios (except the radio for the Z3). They're just the signed image files and not the signed bars.

Sounds like Robbenezer may have them put together just with all the apps instead of removing the non-updated apps, but that's an easy fix. Either install all 204 (can't hurt) or remove the ones you don't want.

Download the one Robbenezer did, I was in a rush and threw a couple wrong files in. His is correct. I have updated original post with his Download.

Go in Airplane mode is always good when installing things yourself. And airplane mode is so easy to switch off and on, why would you not do it?

If I run the Blitz on my Z10 STL100-3 running 10.3.0.1052, am I going to have problems or be missing files? Am I better off doing a clean install of 10.3.1.800 using an autoloader, THEN blitzing, then running a selective restore from BB Link (for some specific app settings)?

Nope, just use the blitz file - it has all of the new apps, core os and radio. There should be no issues coming from 1052.

Upgraded core OS with Sachesi 1.9.9 and it reboots a few times and then Z10 says it's still on 10.2.0.1138.

Why would the OS not stick?

The original upload had some of the apps removed that weren't updated from the 800/821. But the folder has now been replaced by the version that Robbenezer made and it includes all the apps. When you load it to your phone it should be 204 files loaded. Use that one (now in the OP) and you'll be good to go!
