What does everyone wish for 10.4? I realise that the priv is coming out soon but rim has stated that they are not giving up on blackberry 10 and as a die hard blackberry user I hope they don't.

Anyway my wish list is (some may not be possible)

. Improved multitasking screen especially for smaller screens like the q10 and the classic

. Android 5.0 runtime?

. Google play services (not play store) support

. Possible nfc payment support

. More actions for voice assistant

. Theme support

That's my wish list will be intrested to know yours

Bug fixes and improved android runtime will be enough for me. But I'm not sure we will get any of that. Let alone a 10.4 OS. hopefully we will but I won't hold my breathe for sure.

BlackBerry isn't allowed to update the Runtime or provide Google Play Services even if they wanted to.

At best, BB10 will receive another year or two of minor security and maintenance patches.

As for updates for BlackBerry 10. I doubt it. BlackBerry has been promoting Android more than their own. I think it's pretty safe to say that BlackBerry is bowing down to that Droid BOT. Thanks Chen... smh.

Technically, the OHA does not allow a company that sells a pure Android device that is certified for Google Play Services (the Priv), to sell another product with a forked version of Android (BB10).

The OHA would probably look the other way with the existing Runtime, but would not be too happy with any further development.

It's a massive shame, wish we had more developers on board to develop for BlackBerry 10, I love the OS it's solid stable and beautiful it's just lack of native apps which is why I'd like better android support at least. Not that I need it I'm happy with the apps availble on app world it's just it would be nice to have a native snapchat client and my banks app and others

Used an Xperia C4 with Android 5.0 for a day and return back to Z30 since. I'm not sure of I am stupid or not but I can get things done easier in BB10. Hope that Blackberry continue with development of the OS, with new product as well.

Adobe has dropped Flash on all mobile devices and kind of on Linux as well and OSX will be next. Sure, Flash is still needed but BlackBerry can't really include Flash in the browser if Adobe isn't supporting it (which results in e.g. security issues, and who wants security issues on a BB?)

He should think that an OS is more than security and BB10 is better than Android. They can even promote BB10 through Android devices. I really hope they have a hidden agenda in the Ideea of BB10 continuity.

All I need is an updated BlackBerry 10 platform. Updated Adobe PDF Reader, updated stock browser, updated Facebook apps, updated BlackBerry world. Black hub...

Stability and bugs fixes....

UI is good enough and could be maintained for decades to come.

If BlackBerry could, updating the runtime and again come up with a new phone such as the Passport 3 with much powerful processor and more RAM, it would be perfect!
