I mean that for some people, downloading the update took care of their problems. For others, we're still stuck with phones that can't hold a charge and can't delete Android apps, even after correctly performing the update.
There are a number of threads on the subject. Some people's phones seem to be totally crippled.
I really hope the next OS upgrade comes soon and fixes the issue for good.

If they can't delete Android apps, then they did not perform the update properly.

    I performed the update perfectly.
It didn't work for a while, due to the link issue, then it did once the link was fixed. I followed the directions exactly as written.

Rollback to other then, have it anyway you like it, the newer update seems just as good to me no better or worse for droid apps! If that's not the case for you, roll back, No big deal to rollback the bar files?....

thanks for explanation and fix. I installed them using the "BB10 / PlayBook App Manager" extention for chrome. I just had to restart the device after the install and it works fine.

The updated Android runtime every now and then plays up. Drains the battery at an alarming rate.

What I'm saying is if they know we can't delete android apps why have support for amazon appstore which is android apps. I know the android runtime .2813 is the fix but if they know it is broken hope they fix it. Lol
Is it possible to install the runtime without installing the whole 2813 os?

Thanks for this! Had done everything but turn off the "only install newer apps" button, and have of course been getting an error message that I have a newer one installed. Glad I scrolled before posting asking for help with it. Much appreciated!

Hey everyone, I apologize for not being able to find what I am looking for, but some time back I got a response to Cobalt's landing page on how to properly uninstall apps from the Google Play Store on my BlackBerry Passport SE. That link I received in my mailbox was accidentally deleted on my phone, I cannot seem to locate that precise message nor do I see anything close to it. I just remember many people asking for help in this area and Cobalt with another user posted "how-to" uninstall/remove these apps as Google Play Store would crash upon attempting to remove them from the actual app on my BBPP.

Once I again, I apologize for not being able to find this link, I have typed several options in the search bar, but Crackberry seems to be lagging and freezing quite a bit. If I remember correctly, I would had to have opened the link on the phone and download the link so as to complete the process.

Thank you to anyone who could assist me with this.

Exactly why I returned to conites 13 runtime sideloaded bars fix today. It's a tad more stable IMO as a fairly heavy droid user.
