They only committed to offer the security patches to v11 as offered by Adobe for as long as they do. But flash, along with Air, is now no more with 10.3.1.

They only strongly announced to removing Air. Nothing about remove ugly Flash. Don't make meaningless constructions. Lack of Flash in devel say NOTHING about Flash in release version. Keep calm and wait for truth.

Does anyone know if there is a way to "erase" all the Settings settings (as opposed to the Media settings and App settings) and start all over from the beginning with Notifications, email accounts, etc., without wiping and/or reinstalling via an autoloader the entire OS?
Sachesi 1.9.9 (after switch ON Advanced mode in top H) - in install tab have functions: Wipe, Factory reset, Reboot.
What is this Factory reset ? Maybe reset settings without security wipe/shred ?

Actually, some BlackBerry employees have confirmed that flash has also been dropped.

This is not from the mouth of Chen, but these folks are pretty reliable.

Yes. Figured as much. I think I'll wait until the next leak and just do the whole thing from scratch. Anyway, restoring the Apps and Media shouldn't be an issue (other than the BlackBerry Runtime, which can be unchecked).

No. It is a full wipe.

I don't know. I suspect it resets the phone to its original state, which would mean a wipe plus a current official OS install, in other words, more than just a wipe, but maybe someone will chime in here about that.

Well then by definition it's impossible to post that you have no problems at all with this leak if you don't use big chunks of it.

You are wrong. I don't have problems at all with this leak. Maybe I do not use every feature blackberry offers, but what I use I don't have problems with. So how can I not say I don't have problems if I actually do not have them? Try again please..

For those with battery issues and high "system" usage, I just found that it is related to some android app running in the background, not sure which one just yet, but I removed several and rebooted and all was well. I suspect feedly is the culprit, but I can't be sure till I have time to start loading them back one at a time. The only one I've tried yet us Sirius which I'm glad is not the bad one, since I'm using it a lot now, I can live without feedly

    Z30STA100-3/10.3.1.938

Thanks a lot for the tip! Getting rid of the Feedly app did the trick for me, too!

I hardly ever used it, anyway. It's hard to believe it was killing my battery the way it was! I never would've thought of that in a million years!

    Battery life is excellent, now!

Just use gNewsReader. It is a native feedly client.

Did anybody notice the bug in Device Monitor?

Just kidding. Mines been buggy since day one (of 10.3.1.938), but this time it's a doozy. Was/is there a fix for this?

I don't know exactly how that looks when you do that drawing, but sometimes the keyboard will switch from on key predictions to column, and sometimes pick the wrong word like the one below it. But it fixes itself on the next time you goto type something, weird to say the least

I guess there are some bugs on the "quick switch" languages /input method. If you know Chinese, you will know what I mean. Now the Stroke and Chinese handwriting not working again.... even after 10 hard reset and soft reset. Will try to backup and then do a wipe . See whether it works

I have found this release to be more stable than 821, and better battery life... but that could just be because I didn't do a restore this time.

I was pumped when I saw 10.3 added browsing of music over bluetooth, similar to what the iPhone has. It also added, random and repeat. It was handy to browse music in the vehicles head unit. But in .938, the browse button is gone on my stereo, but the random and repeat are still there. Hopefully this comes back. Anyone else notice this?

Open Notifications, tap the star at the bottom, check/uncheck what you want in the Quick Settings toggle. Anything checked will cycle through on the Quick Settings button.

I tried this.... but when I press the "Q" for notifications toggle I get only Silent & Normal.... dont get the "Vibrate only" mode
