I have a quick question, if I use the autoloader to install the 10.3.1.632 developer leak in my z30 and I want to revert back to 10.3.0.1154 if I decide I don't like it, can I do a non destructive update to go back to 10.3.0.1154 or do I have to revert back to 10.3.0 using the autoloader with the revision I want?

To return to a lower OS, you have to use an autoloader.

After 3 days, I am getting over 4 hours at a rate of 12%. Not bad, that would give about 30 hours on 1 charge. I keep adding applications, some which run in the background so I wonder if battery life is really OK, I may just be using more of it. With the original factory OS 10.3, I could get around 36 to 40 hours.

As for the file, I got it from a link to the Mega site (somewhere on this thread search for comments around 10/4/2014). File is about 1.8GB and worked OK (no problems on download or installing). For me it is working great (AT&T unlocked, 4G, and some LTE).

I'm on my 3rd day - battery still no good. Did a hard reset last night as suggested. Took out of the charge at 7am and its only 9am now and I'm down to 78%..No bloody good. Hardly used the phone - no apps other than a very few native apps.
Don't know what to do. If it doesnt get better i have to go back to 10.2.1. System is eating the battery like crazy!!

I had the same problem in the beginning. I noticed that the battery wasn't that great if you do a restore. I did a secure wipe and then setup my accounts from scratch (and re-installed all my applications).

Now I can see a noticeable improvement in the battery life.

I didn't do any restore. Everything is setup from scratch after a security wipe. My z30 warms up after a few hours. not sure why? But someting is not compatible with my STA100-3 and this OS.

You may have done this before, but could you post a screen pic of your current cpu usage from device monitor? Just let it settle for 10 seconds before you take the pic.

System cpu should settle around 5% at idle, about 20 minutes after a reboot. Something is not initializing correctly, and appears to be in some kind of loop. I'm baffled.

My guess at this point is that it's an app none of us have (who are not experiencing the battery drain) that might not be working well with 10.3.1. Of course, the only way to narrow it down (which is a royal PITA) is to start over and slowly add back apps. Something, as stated, is not allowing your system to settle down to the norm.

No offense, but I really wish you STL100-1 users would stop asking over and over. If it's not in the OP of a leak release thread, then it's simply not available.

I installed it over 10.3.0.675 - Still haven't managed to get it back up yet. WiFi works fine and the radio does work as it keeps picking up EE and 3UK, but I'm with O2. Put my SIM into my Q10 and it works, so there is no problem with the SIM?
Couple of choices and forgive me if you've already tried this because I don't rem if you mentioned.

    You could try:

    1) Do a security wipe and try making calls BEFORE you restore. If that works you'll know you have a faulty backup

    Or

    2) reload os again and try making calls BEFORE you restore. If that works you'll know you have a faulty backup

    Or

    3) load the latest 10.3.0.1418 and try making calls BEFORE you restore.

If none of the above work, you'll need to go back to last os you had where all worked and wait for a new release to try.

They say you learn from your mistakes ... I just went back from 10.3.1.632 to 10.3.0.1418 using non destructive method and its destroyed me ... Don't even think about doing it ... Use Autoloader !!!

I know I've read this post many times before but I still took the risk hahaha

Non-destructive update can never give the true behavior of the new OS update... Autoloader without restoring backups will always remain the real test for any build.
