So which link if for the z10 stl 100-3 core os? Which link is for the radio?
No offense Patrick, but at your post count and the fact you're in every leaked os thread you should know the difference by now.

The core for your Z10 STL-3 is the second link under QC8960: Blackberry Z3/Z10/Z30/Q5/Q10 (Debrick + Core OS) that has a file size around 300MB. The Link for the radio is labeled properly under the Z10 (STL 100-2/3/4) and Porsche P9982 Radio section.

Sorry about that. Its just that I can't risk bricking my phone because I have too many important files and contacts that I cannot lose. As such, I'm trying to not make any mistake. Ill try now and install the file you mentioned and I really hope that there's no problem.

Off topic: post count really makes no difference. I have a higher post count than some because I'm a regular here and I've been here a while. Nevertheless, a member could share valid information to the community even if they have only 1 post because it's not the about the number of posts, its what the posts bring to the community

I am currently running 2072/2073. In this particular case, would there be any potential benefit in also loading the core OS in addition to the apps and the radio, or are the updated apps and radio enough?

Not to mention, if you hover your mouse pointer over the links, the debrick will always have desktop in the file name, just another helpful hint.

No need to load the older OS and radio files unless you are on a Passport (where you could argue that this OS has been optimised for that device - although the jury is still out on the specifics of that).

Don't bail yet. It can be stuck on 100% for 15 minutes or more sometimes.

Wait at least an hour before you do anything rash.

Oops too late. I took out the phone from the charger, yanked out the battery, said my prayers, put the battery back in and it got stuck on 100% again. Restarted phone and the red led light kept flashing. But then I connected to the computer and a popup said something like theres a problem with the z10, want to open BB Link? I said yes. It didnt open. Then Blend opened up for whatever reason and my phone started again by itself. Like magic. And it passed 100%. Its working now but that was weird

on a side note, its runnning EXTREMELY hot and im scared for the battery (I was actually getting really good battery life this past week)

Good for you the not so unlucky ones

It will hot for 5-10 minutes, and the temp will drop down after that, better if you put it in front of a fan if you really scared with the temp

Your impatience may have corrupted the install. However, no harm in letting it settle for at least a half hour first to see if it's OK before pulling the trigger on an autoloader. Just don't touch it.
