I reverted back to 10.3.1.1016 for trouble-shooting purposes and it show similar symptoms. I sent an email to the developer. Hopefully we see an update soon.

I had issues with inability to switch to contacts dark theme.
Upgrade from 1016 with auto loader, then restored settings/contacts only.

I reran the autoloader and then didn't perform the restore, problem solved... contacts dark theme works.


I've had several glitches with the last few leaks which seem to be related to device restores and non destructive updates.
I'm resigned to running autoloader and not restoring.

I haven't reverted back, but I didn't see that problem on 1016, even though I used the same exact installation procedure.

ARGGG on Rogers z10 stl-3 and i have no data connection... any ideas??? everything else working perfect, Available networks says 4G- Voice only... and the SIM card is not compatible

Try removing and putting sim back in.
Check apn and make sure it is Rogers.

Sadly the inability to launch android apps from their hub notifications does not seem related to any of my apps. I have two other bb10 phones and they have followed the same upgrade path as my primary device. One of them has no android apps at all and does the same thing.

Over time, I did a clean install of 10.3.1.938, and non-destructively updated to 1016, and then 1151. I don't recall them ever having worked in any version of 10.3.1.

I have absolutely NONE of the other issues normally associated with a non-destructive update. Everything else seems to work as designed.

I call voodoo on this one for me.

Typically this behavior is related to installing Google Play Services or Play Store components, either untouched or patched through Cobalt's patchers. The problem is that even removing those components does not fix the issue. Only a security wipe followed by a fresh install will bring functional notifications back - as long as none of the culprit components are installed again.

Make sure all the BlackBerry services are running, the BlackBerry device driver (in system tray) sees the phone, and Link is NOT running. If Link is configured to start when the phone is plugged in reconfigure it so it doesn't.

Anyone know how to get that transparent box on the bottom left to appear? It use to appear randomly on 1016, but now I can't get it back!

I got it to appear when I swiped from the top left in an angle. Didn't know what it was when I first saw it. But saw a post about a top left angle swipe three times something like that.

My network signal is a little weaker. Not hugely so, but a bit. Takes longer to connect to mobile data then before.

My notifications are super low.

My bbm does not have toast notifications, but I believe thats specifically a bbm issue.

I upgraded from 10.3.1418 on the passport.

I am considering doing a full wipe, and will report what the results were. Not sure yet if I'll restore or not.

I too am seeing an incorrect battery graph on device monitor. VZW Z30. Autoloader, no restore, no wipe. I have reset several times. Loaded it about 24 hours ago. Beyond that, bbm and clock are good. Noting broken or different than 1016 except now the cloud sync notices appear for me and work in both password keeper and pictures app. May not be new, but wasn't working in 1016 for me. All in all, this feels very polished like a gold os. I would expect carriers to start pushing it soon. Some of them, anyway. Notifications are a little low but if you adjust the volume up in all places it's usable.

Edit, radio is fine for me, no issues seen yet. WiFi has zero problems.

For those having BBM crash try this:

Turn phone off using top button. (not hard reboot) and LEAVE OFF for about 10 min.

Turn back on and WAIT about 10 min then try to launch BBM.

All good since.

Do a few reboots. The runtime should restore. If not, you may have to wipe and reload the OS if you've restored the runtime setting.

It's your OWN fault if BBM doesn't open/work or anything else. You aren't meant to do non-destructive O/S installs because you are mashing together two separate OS coding or outdated OS coding with new coding, it's common sense you are going to have problems as a result and it should be expected.

I have none of the problems everyone is claiming exists because I used the autoloader.

Android notifications fully work and are openable now on this O/S which is amazing.
