On another note.... memory is draining down enough to make certain apps stop working.

I do not like it that I need to swipe up twice when device is asleep, to get to home screen. Big pia. Hope this is just a bug and not a feature.

This has been discussed before. Some have found that swiping all the way from bottom to top in about 1/2 second bypasses the 2nd swipe while others have found a quick flick does the same thing. You could also enable using the power button or the "lift to wake" feature to wake the device.

Ttorrent just loads a black screen until the android wait or close screen comes up. It used to work but I've never been able, in past leaks where it worked, to get it to remember my pro license anyway.

I don't know if it's the build or Facebook but it seems like I had this problem previously and somehow fixed it but can't seem to now. In the facebook messenger replies don't come in line just to the hub. So you see someone "typing" then the alert beep but nothing shows up but the new reply is over in the hub. Anyone else had this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstall so far with a reboot in between but that's it so far and it continues. I don't use it a ton but definitely annoying.

2. Execute autoloader (10.3.1.1151 in my case)
3. Restore Applications and Media, do not restore Settings from backup (the problem is somewhere in Settings)

The pain is you lose calendar data, text messages, and call logs unless you back them up separately (Fire Chest, SMS Backup, etc...).

I found any kind of wipe is nothing more than a time sink and unnecessary (except for the extremely paranoid).

Finally got the contacts searching working correctly after installing fresh from autoloader. Nondestructive method using blitz is causing too many headaches with this leak.

For people having trouble with this leak after installing using nondestructive method, I suggest trying the autoloader method, it is worth it!

I never noticed before but a couple times today my keyboard forgets that I have it set to predict in letter and shows the 3 options up top like swiftkey then I back out and come back and it's back on in letter. The first time it did it I checked the settings thinking it was messed up but both were still set to in letter. Weird glitch I guess.

Fluid scrolling. And not a single crash or an error.
Same goes for Ttorrent. all works fine.

Sideload them using Sachesi then restart. It could take time to load the runtime. But after a couple attempts it should load.

Thanks man. I had a feeling it was the runtime and not blackberry that blocked them.

It's a Command line program, used to wipe any Blackberry device of it's OS. Giving you the opportunity to install a fresh OS, via Autoloader.

So it's kinda like doing a Security Wipe

Nope

It actually "nukes" your device. Leaving it empty and devoid of any OS. In essence, it bricks your phone. An autoloader is used to install a fresh OS. Security wipe just wipes your settings or anything else added to your device after a new OS install

I did non-destructive upgrades from 10.2.1 > 10.2.2 > 10.3.0 > 10.3.1 and then did the restore including "System Applications" and "Blackberry Runtime" from the 10.3.1 backup and it had no effect on the outcome...

Same issue. I tried all torrenting apps and it seems like blackberry blocked them or something.
I'll go back to the older android bars from 1016

No downs side doing it.
Everything still works fine and even faster. And my notifications are working fine. Even the previously loaded android apps.

In a facebook message, either in the app or hub, the text window drops below the word suggestions and becomes unviewable... With a blank text window, it's viewable, as soon a I type one letter like "I", the text window drops below, I can then swipe the screen which brings it back up.







On 10.3.0.1048, I used to have the problem of reading a fb message, but it remained unread, that went away with the fb beta ... now I'm on 10.3.1.1151, and the read/unread problem is back, and now this unable too view the text window problem for me...

Here is the problem from the hub...







I did a search for this problem, anyone else have this, any solutions?

Oh wow. I just tried this with my Facebook and guess what? Getting my notifications nows..they all populated in the hub and new ones coming in...hmm. So strange.
It wasn't that big of a deal either to me, but to get it to work is just a relief. Lol.

Sorry not working for you.. it would bug me too. Well it was. Up until now.

CFP is a command line tool. It's packaged inside the autoloader. That why when you run an autoloader it pops up cmd and you watch progress. That CFP doing all that work.
Autoloader just uses a command to launch CFP and load files.
If you strip CFP out it can be used to run other commands such as nuke.

I haven't seen this brought up anywhere yet. Am I the only one having the Hub open back up after I scope out of it! Read a text or email, delete it then swipe out to home screen,then about 2 seconds later it goes back to Hub screen on its own!

Well, my battery was doing great until this morning. It and my RAM was draining super fast.

So Mecca suggested I load 996 radio. I did and now battery has leveled out and RAM is hanging around 1gb.

Now I will try reinstalling Facebook and see what happens.

My RAM always drains. No matter what OS or radio I use. Don't know why.

thanks to your bars i came back to 1151 all my android apps work now with notifications as well
