Means it's a leftover from when you moved an app once. Press and hold an app (to move), then press it again when it starts pulsating.

Anyone else having to swipe twice to wake? One swipe opens the lock screen (toast notification page) and the second unlocks.

And a fix to add: bringing down the quick setting menu while the keyboard is visible now correctly tucks away the keyboard (in the last leak it didn't work)

    Device: STL100-4 (Verizon Z10)
    Previous OS: 10.3.1.1016
    Install Method: Sachesi 2.0RC "non-destructive"
Issue: BBM and Clock apps would not work.
Observed Fix: Did an autoloader install. Checked that BBM worked. Did a full restore from backup. BBM and Clock apps continue to work.
Issue: Settings won't open in the Contacts app. Took a very long time for the Contacts app to become responsive after opening it.
Observed Fix: None yet. Working normally now.
Issue: (MAJOR): Unable to save new contacts.
    Observed Fix: None.

Finding: The wifi settings now have Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) option when connecting to a new network.
Finding: Concerning the swipe to unlock; if you have no apps open, a single swipe will only bring you to the lock screen. If you have apps open, a single swipe will bring you back to the active frames or foreground app.
    Excellent post! Congratulations.

Re: swipe to unlock. Apparently there are two different swipes:
    1. Swipe from the bottom and stopping somewhere in the screen.
    2. Swipe quickly from bottom all the way up beyond the top bezel.

I have found using 2 I can unlock the phone with just one swipe. Give it a shot.

Three days after updated by blitz with sachesi, facebook gone mad,,cover the whole screen of my z3, hanging there, I cant see anything, just the facebook page and non responding. (you can only see small lower part of the screen like phone and camera is responding). i can't even navigate to my home screen. I don't have screen shot for that. :-(

I just restarted the phone and gone. I will try to uninstall and install back. I will see if it will happen again.

Doesn't work, also really hard to swipe all the way with one hand!

Seems it's a new feature of sorts, I kind of like/hate it.

And no, having apps open or not doesn't change the behavior. One swipe brings to toast notification screen and second unlocks

My suggestion to anyone who has problems with whatever.

Fix: use an autoloader with no restore. Add everything back manually.

1151 it's different from 1016 i don't think it's a good idea to restore ,it feels a lot better than 1016 but still need a lot of work

Yeah, it is harder to do with one hand. An alternative is to enable the power button to unlock the phone. That you can do with one hand - kinda like with the old BBOS devices.

For the one-swipe thing to work you have to play with it a bit to get the timing right. I find if you do the whole swipe in about half-a-second it works. Too fast or too slow doesn't. The timing might be device dependent as well.

Sadly no. I'd like to hear from others using Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.1151.

But this double swipe definitely feels more like a new feature than a bug. Probably still in development

Going from 10.3.0.1418 to 10.3.1.1151 I did a custom restore: Only Application Data and Media (optional). Within Application Data I restored everything EXCEPT "system applications" and "Blackberry runtime". That at least got all my applications restored. I still had to set up all the accounts (email, FB, LinkedIn, etc) and had to import my (previously exported) Password Keeper vault but saved me several hours of installing all those apps. Oh, had to sideload Snap as well, of course.

It's your OWN fault if BBM doesn't open/work or anything else. You aren't meant to do non-destructive O/S installs because you are mashing together two separate OS coding or outdated OS coding with new coding, it's common sense you are going to have problems as a result and it should be expected.

I have none of the problems everyone is claiming exists because I used the autoloader.

Android notifications fully work and are openable now on this O/S which is amazing.

If only we could all be as smart as you think you are!

I've always used Sachesi, never an autoloader and 10.3.1.1151 seems to be settling in just fine. Maybe you should google "class" and "humility"...

Didn't check to see if this has already been posted, but if you're experiencing a single swipe brings you back to the lock screen, check settings > display and make sure you have "Show Wallpaper When All Apps Are Closed" turned off.

I'm not a developer, but would it be too hard to include USB OTG capability on the next software update 10.3.1 for OS10 devices?

Yes, because it's a hardware issue, not a software issue.

Ok thanks, I was under the impression that it was a software issue similar with the Zenfones which at first release did not support Usb otg but after a software update had Usb otg.

From what I've used it has improved from the official 10.3 available for the Passport. I hope they revamp the camera software to fully take advantage of the Passport's hardware. It feels severely under-utilized to me.
This version does work better for me than the stock OS's camera which has been my biggest complaint since receiving the device.
