I'm on the q10 and used the autoloader and can't get any android app to work. I installed Instagram and Google maps using snap and when I open them it's just a black screen and nothing happens....Any way to fix this?

Just open and close them a few times. And if that doesn't work. Try a reset.

I think it has more to do with the android runtime getting started than the apps themselves.

It's your OWN fault if BBM doesn't open/work or anything else. You aren't meant to do non-destructive O/S installs because you are mashing together two separate OS coding or outdated OS coding with new coding, it's common sense you are going to have problems as a result and it should be expected.

I have none of the problems everyone is claiming exists because I used the autoloader.

Android notifications fully work and are openable now on this O/S which is amazing.

Well, I have no BBM issues and I nondestructively loaded this over 1016 ( which was an autoload), and there are people who are having problems with BBM and the clock who have done wipes and autoloads. None of this is anyone's fault. It's what leaks are all about.

I posted earlier on the other 1151 thread or maybe this one that nondestructive loads, which are the equivalent of OTA loads, are, in fact, the way to upgrade, at least with official releases.

It seems that low notification tones are just for custom notification sounds.

The built in one's sound fine.

Hopefully this is fixed later on, but for now that's a workaround, to just use the stock notification tones.

Oh I didn't actually notice before I read your post! Looks like a bug... cause swipe to unlock doesn't seem to work properly.

I have been using the lift to wake feature... so have been using less swipe to wake.

i've got an update from vzw ota and right after that my phone was restarting by itself so i'm thinking it must be better to do a clean install wipe data and do everything again even if it takes longer ,if you have any issues after you will think about doing a clean install and that will be double the work

Make sure your phone isn't plugged into the computer until you see the bootrom prompt.

Run the autoloader without phone plugged in and only plug it in once you see the bootrom prompt.

Do a few reboots. The runtime should restore. If not, you may have to wipe and reload the OS if you've restored the runtime setting.

Answered my own questions.

Camera seems to be largely unaffected in focus ability in this leak. No noticeable difference.

Notification volumes are still in mousey and quiet.

Raised new ones.

And a new problem. The keyboard seems bit off. Actually quite off.
The touch component is very jumpy and misinterpreting my gestures.

And no more auto-correct to the when I press the ':'

Reads a double tap on the enter bottom as a backspace sometimes

And not more swipe down on the keyboard to bring up the auxiliary characters.

Odd, no??

I'm on a passport.

Did all the resets I know how to do to see if that helps. Hasn't so far.

Edit:

The auto correct is slowly learning the smiley face but it used to 'just be there'.

BATTERY performance is EPIC

VOULME when playing media is LOUD, for NOTIFICATIONS it's a little LOW.


BBM and CLOCK works without crashing from the start


Screen FLICKERING when working with multiple apps opened, a quick hard reset sorted that out. No more screen flickering.


CALENDAR NOTIFICATIONS work and all SAVED DATES are displayed correctly!


Keyboard swipe and gestures work better than 10.3.1.1016


Camera autofocus does a better job than 10.3.1.1016

This has nothing to do with OS or BBM it's just that when u first start BBM it has a low Memory consumption but when you open channels or leave BBM open in an active frame for quite sometime it goes to 100+ MB in memory, just close it and open it back

Hm, everything is fine with this leak and my passport, but LTE / 4G does not work. ( Vodafone / Germany).

Does anybody has the same problem?
