You can't do a selective restore from a "full backup" (at least not the last time I tried), you have to create a "custom backup"

I do it all the time. Maybe this is a relatively new feature of Link.

after installing autoloader 10.3.1.1016 on my Z10 STL 100-1 when my device was reboot after that no setup screen appears and when i tried to connect to link it says first complete the setup on your blackberry. then i security wiped my device but no setup screen, this trick worked on OS 10.3.1.938 but not in OS 10.3.1.1016. I know one trick that if we type "oobe://" in browser it takes you to the setup screen then i completed te setup then tpp link says comple the setup on your blackberry please help?

First of all, I don't know what causes it. Secondly, it happened both times to me, when I installed the. 938 and .1016 . The first time (938) I had to make a hard reset and all went back to normal and setup started. The second time though, I tried the reset thing but nothing happened. So I did nothing but run the autoloader over again, and when it completed, the phone turned on, and the setup process began. Hope this helps you out. Good luck with that.

Installed on my STL100-2 via autoloader, did a security wipe and backed up again! Everything is working fine, it is super smooth and I like the new functionalities!

unfortunately same problem going on and on and on again....
The only leak that works fine without the wifi problems is 1154...all other leaks have serious wifi radio connection problems ....
Im afraid the official 10.3.1 os for Q10 will have this issue also ....
I really am confused also , why are they pushing that issue too far ?

I've notice wlan version hasn't changed since the playbook still the same version!

Still can't copy posts from BBM groups... u can copy from individual BBM post to past somewhere else but not from groups....

BBM is not included in a backup. It's stored in the BlackBerry infrastructure with your bbid. Only contacts comeback.
I think BBM settings are only thing stored in backup

Did you go through the entire tutorial app? Also, if you've changed your device name from the default "Blackberry-FF77" previously you will have to change your current device name to whatever it was before for Link to recognize it as the same device.

I rentered setup completed setup again then BlackBerry link worked

Car apps. Also, this morning when I got in my car it prompted my that something called My Car found my Land Rover and if that was correct. And now when I'm connected to my bluetooth in my car my lock screen has a whole different look telling me I'm connected to my Land Rover.

I can't take screen shot of locked screen, correct? I'll try to take a pic with my dusty iPhone or something sometime.

im having serious contact issues on this build,actually since .632, my problem is that all my contact numbers do not show,the names are there but the numbers are not and if i put in the numbers and reboot boom numbers are gone again,i've tried autoloader and non destructive method same results,but once i revert back to 10.3.0.3148 all is well, and i to am experiencing this wifi issue,any one have any ideas on how to solve this contact issue( z10 stl-4, digicel st.vincent)

Re enter setup and go through all options then exit. Same happened with me and I did this and BlackBerry link was then fine. Good luck
