For all those talking about Android apps running in the background, I think you might have missed my post from earlier:

Many Android apps, by design, use Google's cloud notification service. The app will come back to life whenever it gets a notification from the cloud or if there is a change in your network state. You can't just shut them down.

There is absolutely nothing you can do about it. This is intentional and is required for compatibility.

The apps I am having an issue with were installed via Amazon app store, and shouldn't be trying to talk to Google anything.

These are the same apps and versions I had on 10.2.1 and they did NOT behave like this (constantly running in the background). Something changed in 10.3.1 where they are constantly running in the background and there is no reason for them to do so. Why would a credit card app need to constantly do anything in the background? It's not like there is some sort of auto-refresh interval.

Only os 10.3.0.1154 works properly without wifi connection problems ,all other leaks have the same problem on my Q10 ..

The only WiFi issue I have is the icon doesn't show the signal level. Communication is good.

On my second reload today, this time I use and loaded via new SIC Multiwipe n Load Tool. Everything went fine after successful reload and hopefully this fixes my previous battery charging issue (phone not charging even charger still plugged). Thanks to you guys, you know who you are! every 10.3.1 for me has had wifi dropping issue's, this bulid its not as bad 1154 was the only one that everything worked perfect on, ive used autoloaders with no restore and secuirty wipes, only thing i havnt tried is reloading the wifi bars as i only know one name but someone on CB posted not so long ago theres 2 bars, if anyone could help i'd be nice and i'd be greatfull, it cant be my router because i never had wifi issue on 1154:/

Ok guys.
After reading 26 pages and loading uo this os.
I had to revert to 938.
Keyboard did not work, serious battery drain.

What i would like to know before i reinstall this os.
Is scrolling through the app pages smooth?
Does the option to turn the screen on when a not comes in work?

0 issues with keyboard. Not sure what wrong for you there. No issues scrolling no lags that I notices at all. Have not tested the turn on auto feature.
As for Battery life. You have to give it at least 24hrs after load(bare minimum), preferably 48hrs before judging battery.

Satisfied with my pre 1000, 10.3.1 leak. Not loading another one until Blend comes up.

Beyond requiring 10.3.1, Blend has nothing to do with the OS.

Once your device gets whitelisted, it will start working.

I can't load my previous back-up (the one I did before I installed 1016 OS) due to "i.d. changes" according to my BB Link. Also, I can no longer install my playepub reader seemed to haven't upgraded to 1016.
Other than that, smooth and battery seems to be okay.

The cloud notification service is not the same thing as Google Services. From my understanding, any android app can make use of it.

Any app that has any kind of notification feature (whether turned on or off) will likely keep popping back up. This seems to be a new feature (or at least it seems better implemented in 10.3.1).

For instance, Kik Messenger used to last a while running in the background but would eventually drop off. Notifications were therefore unreliable. Now, it works perfectly. I don't know how the memory management software handles these apps in terms of priority. I wish there was better documentation on exactly how this is done.

Your book reader app is an Adobe Air app. It is no longer supported in 10.3.1.

Only thing that helped on mine z30 was to get static IP address for my handset. Works fine ever since, never dropped down WiFi.

Not sure if this is a bug. Swiping with two fingers from the bottom brings the keyboard on all the frames, even where its not required. o_O Attachment 311100

Has anyone else lost all settings after restarting? If so, is there a fix? After a security wipe, installed with autoloader. Restarted after 24 hours and am back to square one.

Using Z10 STL100-5 on T-Mobile.

Two finger swipe up from bottom to bring up the keyboard has been there before 10.3. I think since the launch of BB10 actually.
