OTA install completed via AT&T and I let it sit alone for a while to finish it's business.

So far, doesn't feel different (that's a good thing), no issues or glaring improvements I can see.

I see the 10.3.1 features there, but I've known about them through the forums, so no surprise there.
No performance issues, running fine and zippy as usual.

Flash is gone, but I tested the apps I use and all seems well.

Just recently I was using Firefox on my Samsung Tab and wasn't able to view videos from a site because of not having Flash. What a pain, I tried following instructions that I found, but ended up using another browser. I wanted to use Firefox and not have to switch browsers.

I've noticed that the system folder appears to be cleaned up. Did a non destructive update from 938 to 1016 and system folder went from 3,56GB to 2,96GB.

If adobe isn't developing it anymore then it's less likely you're going to see different browsers, phones etc.. using it because there will be no more security updates and that will leave you vulnerable to attacks.

Overflow menus have always been true black in the Hub and dark grey everywhere else. Nothing new here.

*You can add credit card number and expiry date with an NFC tap through Settings > Payments Options. My findings:
Mastercard: no effect
American Express: "Invalid Card Type" toast
Visa: works.

*You can change the LED colour for individual contacts now

Hey that's different. It first showed up on 10.3.1 leaks?

Cause usually the NFC tap for credit cards has to be done within an app.... like the RBC, TD app. So BlackBerry is doing their own NFC payment system?

Working ok text/calls, but not auto opening after reboot, need to do it manually , or you won't be seeing as available

Installed leak, everything seems to be settling in nice, one thing that's weird is I'm not getting H+ and I didn't used to. (I'm not getting it on my other devices) I only had 3G before. (northern Ontario)

Before this update I was able to swipe the bottom keyboard bezel to move out of a folder, now this is not working :/

I did a non destructive update from 938 and all went smooth and good. Did the few hard resets too.

It all looks smooth now.
1. Two finger swipe brings up the keyboard, but it doesnt go down on the same way.
2. BBM is still settling down I guess, slows down frequently.
3. Misspelled words get corrected on the first attempt now.
4. Android runtime is snappy, apps are loading up in a jiffy.
5. Boot times are normal. Almost same like before.
6. Autotext/Word prediction of "mynumber" is not working.

More findings coming up soon.

Initial boot was nasty, it took it sweet time but the consequent boot took less than a minute as a matter of fact took less time to boot than 10.3.1.938 :P

Anyone else notice Android apps constantly running in the background? Using the Task Manager app I always see Discover and Pandora running in the background, and trying to close them has no effect.


I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the Discover app to see if that makes any difference..

Almost forgot to mention I upgraded nondestructively using the AT&T files (swapped core OS and radio files) and the old school Sachse method.
