The signal arrows for data transmission. I miss them so! I'm an I.T. guy, so I like being able to visual confirm that my device is, or isn't transmitting data. Call me special, I would just love for them to return.

I totally agree with you! We should have it. It is to indicate something so that you know your phone is uploading or downloading!

21st century? No wonder Windows 8 fail. All of the good features of windows were hidden and being in a too simplified manner that I think Windows is not boosting its own productivity! And the worst is they have taken the start menu button, can't a touch device have start menu?

Ok, back to BlackBerry.. it is not annoying.. but it is a very very useful feature to alert, indicate and monitor your data usage.

Lol. Let's call it BB10BUT7 OS and let's give every user special admin management screen. There will be all features from BB7 and BB10 combined with tick boxes. If you want a certain feature then tick it and everybody will stop complaining... although, now I'm thinking that a new species of complainers will arrive saying that the whoke OS management is too complicated and "thank you BlackBerry, I'm leaving for Android".

    ***edit***
Now I thought that we should incorporate all ideas from "what we want from BB10 in future updates" as well...

At least he gave a good technical reason. Battery life is still paramount. Plus, I hate how apple products do not have any sort of activity light. I just want to know it is working via a glance.

That would definitely be a differentiator. No other phone makes the whistling noises when connecting to wifi.

Bring them back. They definitely helped (visually) in areas with poor coverage.

Nowadays I watch the coverage/ signal bars flicker.

Being that I manage both Mac OS X and Windows 8/7 deployment for my day job, I find that I miss having the notifications lights on the Apple hardware that you have on Windows based hardware. It is just a nice feature. If you hard drive light is pegged, that means your computer is processing, yes the rainbow wheel is similar, but so is the hourglass in Windows. Sidenote- Is it just me or, am I the only one experiencing exponentially better battery life on BBOS 10 ver. 10.3.1.1016??? Anyway, call me "Ole skool". I like notification lights, thus my love of BlackBerry's!!!! #ijs.
