Hey, this is a BlackBerry forum. I would like to hear and discuss how BlackBerry 10 is *NOT* dead, to those of us who still like it the best. (If you think BlackBerry 10 is dead, there is another running thread for that.)

Just My Opinionated Opinion here.

I'll start. I still feel warm fuzzys using my BlackBerry 10 devices, they are so simply reliable, and good-looking, too. For instance today I grabbed the Q10 'phone' today and the Z30 plaything (has different songs in it and more fun to take pictures with, sometime, and for now has its own simcard for easy browsing.) I just knew they were all charged up and ready to go play. Took pics from both phones, bluetoothed pics from one to the other, they're just both such winners and all primpy-looking, all the time, unlike their owner. Fine companions to bring along on a leisurely sunny day out in nature.

Wow this is awesome discussion and I 100% agree with OP on all his points!! BlackBerry 10 and devices are the best in the world and I love them very much!!!!

I take it you haven't used bluetooth on iphone between non Apple devices.

I'm glad to see an occasional update. It means they're at least maintaining the best OS around. PassportSQW100-4/10.3.3.2205 is a rock solid device and it's really taken a beating where all other devices have failed.

Yes, it's a fantastic OS but it's dying slowly as each week passes.

Things are breaking now exponentially. Soon be time to move on. Such a shame.

I have 4 Passports so at least I'll have BB10 to last me a while. I also have a 2 Priv, 2 dtek50, 2 dtek60 and I'll be buying several Mercury. The transition to android isn't hard for me since I have my collection that I use daily but my daily driver will always be BB10 until there is no more. I am not dependent of apps so android has never been a need for me and if I want something for games, I have a ps3 and a ps4 for that.

PassportSQW100-4/10.3.3.2205 is main phone. The other passports are for backup purposes. The android devices are just a collection. I have 2 of each but don't use them all. My sister has 1 dtek 50 and my son a Priv. My business associate has a dtek60. The other 3 androids are mine though. Priv and dtek 60 are always with me as secondary phones for remote connections to customers. The other dtek50 I gave to my wife.

And even with all the phones I have, android can't beat BB10 as an OS. Hell they can't even get notifications to work right. Lol

I think there is still an opportunity for 10 to get some app support . Although I'm good with cobalt , all those new people using bb10 may not be accustomed to work arounds, but I think there is hope for them.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I have a p9982 as my daily driver, but I bring my dtek 60 as back up for when the battery dies. I also own a Priv (that I'm probably going to ship to Malaysia) , and a dtek 50. Sometimes I like to just kick it old school and I pull out my vintage Rim 957 and a Nokia 8210, I attach them using holsters and belt clips. It's like I have a real estate utility belt.

The Priv is my operating phone BUT ....

My Z30 still powers BLEND. BLEND is installed on two separate laptops/win-tablets and two desktop computers. I would feel totally lost without it.

As you know, nothing lasts forever, and unfortunately, BB10 is on life support and is an extinct species.

BB10 does give me warm and fuzzy feeling... but it also always leave something out. Z10's battery life, Z30's screen resolution, Passport was the peak, but the camera and app experience were only tolerable. Now I am on S7 Edge with HUB+ installed, happier and not missing much from BB10.

I agree with many here, BB10 is simply the best mobile OS. I tried the Priv for awhile and it just seems like running Android defeats the purpose of buying a BlackBerry (though the Priv keyboard is nice). I've got a z10, z30, and a Passport. Sounds like the consensus here is that there likely won't be a new bb10 device again, but I'll be using it until it's no longer supported.
