I'm on AT&T in Colorado and I received the OS update on BlackBerry Link...just finished my Z10 and updating my Q10 now.

Ugh -- I was hoping that since you received the update, I would as well. But nothing here on my Q10 in Colorado on AT&T.

I feel your pain brother...I was surprised when it suddenly appeared on BlackBerry Link this afternoon. It wasn't showing up OTA for me despite all my checking. I hope it shows up soon for you either OTA over BlackBerry Link.

Telus tweeted me back last week and said they would release the Z30 upgrade this week. Hopefully they do. My Z30 owning friends on Rogers upgraded today and are loving the new OS.

Well I'm past the frustration now...!
With so many problems with the new os(as mentioned in gazillion threads) I'd prefer waiting for more stable os by the end of the week (if it's really coming out) .
Hopefully BlackBerry is working on fixes while we wait.

I don't know about others and what they do with their phones, no offense to anybody.
I have not one problem with the new OS besides the battery consumption is a little higher for obvious reasons. I would not be that afraid of the update and if it comes just be prepared with all the tools in place. My phone is a better device in any and all the ways.

By happy coincidence, I saw this advisory post in the forum. I forgot that my SIM was in my G3 and decided to go for the update. Before doing it, I installed BlackBerry Link on my PC and did a backup.
The update was successful.
The moral here? The fact that ANY provider is "now" distributing the upgrade is only *somewhat* relevant to you getting the upgrade. As you can see from above, it played no part at all for me, as my shop-Z30 is on no one's radar.
You'll get it when you get it.

All seems to work well. It did do TWO 1.0GB downloads and TWO installs. What?! However, the final install size was ~700MB from .2.1.3062 to .3.1.1581. Seeing the above, my advice is to FREE UP SPACE on that 16GB storage before you do anything!

I have to admit I was wary yet anxious to do the update. So far, rumors of numerous problems are *greatly* exaggerated. There may be, but for my most basic functions, and then some, the upgrade's proving to be stable so far.

What is "wrong" with it? It's DIFFERENT. If you're of a certain age with kids, they'd look at you with total incredulity if you told them about B&W TVs! It's that simple.
Enjoy the extra row of icons (I wish there was an extra column too; my G3 has 10x8!).
Personally, I like the smaller font.
I love the new cursor placer(?).
I was looking forward to and welcome the new tools in Settings.
I just got a beautiful, brilliant popup reminder; it's wonderful.
The lighter, brighter hub, not so much. That said, it's more feature-rich.
I like that I can focus the camera so much more friggin' easily! Before, it was rocket science!

I'm certain that in addition to all the cosmetic upgrades and added functionalities, security's been enhanced, so upgrading *is* a necessity.

I'm sure I'll be discovering more as the days go by but my attention was divided. I also got upgraded to Lollipop on my G3 tonight! I'm in geek heaven!

i am using z30 in australia. today morning i saw an update popped up saying that 10.3.1 available to download. kept it on downloading, upon installing at 93% the message popped up that an error occured in installing and then it stopped. since then i cannot get that update on the air or on the blackberry link. it says on my 10.2 software that it is the latest one.

please help

I tried EVERYTHING (yes, even the remove-the-sim trick).
Eventualy, I managed to update with Sachesi using the country and operator ID (for Orange Romania). Except that bug with the low volume notifications, everything is fine. Guess what? it's exactly the same update every person with a Q10 on Orange Romania received.

Ok so my Q10 SQN100-3 factory unlocked bought on Amazon never got the update after I tried all the SIM card in SIM card out, Link, OTA and everyday since the 19th. Lost hope and tried Sachesi... So now I'm rocking the latest update and no bug and it's amazing!!!
