I bought my Z30 STA 5 from shop BlackBerry. I had to let it search for the update for a while then I got it.

Another day and yet again no update on either of my ShopBlackBerry devices. I've done as instructed by Michael Clewley in his tweets but no update coming through to my Z10 or Q10 here in Colorado.

I saw a tweet from him indicating possibly Friday or Monday so I guess I will simply have to wait and see.

Frustrating for those of us who aren't receiving it no doubt and for those of you who have received it I guess you must be living right...hahaha

He said it may take until Monday and if it doesn't come by then Tweet him back. He is also taking PIN numbers to his email mclewley at blackberry dot com.

Yep, I'm in the waiting mode for either Monday or sooner based on emailing my PINS.

Like you and others I have tried all the suggested methods to get the updated OS on my ShopBlackBerry Z10 and Q10 and have not had any results. According to the email reply I received from Michael Clewley with BlackBerry, we will all be in a wait and see until Friday or Monday.

So I guess we all need to wait and see what happens as frustrating and disappointing as it may be...

Spoke to a lady at Telus and she didn't even know what I was talking about. I escalated to next CS rep and (I don't know if it was BS or not) he told me that Telus was puting a hold on releasing the update because of majors bugs.. They are supposedly waiting on BBRY to send a patch.

On other hand: something is getting me confuse.. I read somewhere on Crackberry in a statement from BBRY that factory unlocked devices (shopblackberry.com and amazon) would be getting the update directly from BBRY servers.. But a tweet I received from @blackberryhelp told me that event if my device was unlocked and bought from Amazon, I would get the update from my carrier...

Which one is it?

Decided to check BlackBerry Link for the OS 10.3.1 update...again!!! And what do you know...it's there for my Z10 and Q10...Yay!!!! I'm doing a back up on my Z10 now and I will load it on the Z first.

What I don't get is how the Z10 and Q10 updates could go as smoothly as they have (or so it appears they were smooth), but the Z30 and Passport updates did not. What is so different about those devices that makes the OTA break?

At the end of the day it is no big deal. I am more than happy to wait until they get it figured out. 10.2.1 is plenty good.

I have received the update 10 minutes ego, Its downloading now.
I did not use Link and had the sim card in my phone. The update just came true.

Note, my carrier has not pushed 10.3.1 this was blackberry direct update.

They said to turn off your phone, take out the sim card, then turn your phone on, then turn on your wifi, then search for the update. If your device is unlocked it should work. It worked for me. For my z30 and passport

Nope it didn't work. You mentioned LINK starts automatically? It doesn't.

Yes it needs to be in when shutting down. I had tried before without the sim before and it didn't work.

I'm on AT&T in Colorado and I received the OS update on BlackBerry Link...just finished my Z10 and updating my Q10 now.

Everything appears to be functioning normal at this point...

a friend has his Q10 update come through with Vodafone but not on the full touch z10
