On my computer Mega forces me to install its application in order to download large files because it says my Pale Moon Browser does not have enough memory.
I think that if we start accepting to install applications on our PC just to download at the end all companies will do it and end up taking over our computers with their applications.

Can't explain that then since Chrome is the suggested browser. Both FF and Chrome work fine as does Safari.

Yes. Use Firefox, and be done with it.

It has never asked me to download any app on a PC and I have never actually downloaded it. But, I've downloaded plenty of autoloaders through the Mega site in Firefox.

FireFox is what I use - nothing to install. You are using a fairly obscure browser so that is probably why. Install FireFox, download the file, delete/uninstall FireFox, done.

You seem to have bigger issues beyond your browser. At this point, perhaps installing the app really is your best option if you ever want to use Mega.

There are some hoping for "something" before the EOL at the end of the year. So hope isn't completely dead, if you like long shots.

Stick to my autoloaders and resolve your mega issues. I know they can be trusted.
