Time to read up on the definition and meaning of 'racist'... According to Meriam-Webster, racism is: "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race"

The statement you are reacting to had lille to do with human traits and capacities, and nothing with race being a determinant of it.
In fact, if anything, it is derogatory for the Canadians. Not that they are a race, just like Somalis is not a race. They are black, white, whatever Somalis.

Moreover, your comment displays a sense of moral superiority that, while not based on race in your comment, is repulsive to many people.
I'm not sure you've ever been in Somalia, or have any knowledge about their cellular infrastructure, but it might just be that it is not up to par with the American. And this is probably not race related at all. (At least I cannot find the connection in the post.)

Strange posts. Somalia is a dump. I have been there. Also I think they would consider themselves a race as they are visually and culturally different then other areas of Africa. Cellular service is generally very good in Africa and much cheaper then here. They essentially skipped the land line era.
