I installed from Canada Rogers. Everything seems to be running just fine the last few days since I installed.

The OS (see attached screen grab) shows 10.2. Why is the software release 10.1?

    Is that fine?

    Should I install from a different carrier? I have Z10, STL 100-3 from AT&T.

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

That's kinda messed up, as it should show 10.2.0.424 Software Release.

    I'll attach a screen shot.

    I also installed via Sachesi.

Reset your device by holding down volume up and down buttons, hold them down until you see the boot logo...that should do the trick.

I've done a few hard reboots... still showing what's above.

Should I try a different carrier? Any suggestions for Z10, STL 100-3?

    Thanks in advance!

You have to do a security wipe then the correct version will show.....................painful but it works

What's the point? If everything works. Who cares about an OS number. BlackBerry people are a bit too OCD for my taste

I thought I might have been missing some features, that's all.

So long as I have all the features in this release, I don't care then that the number is "wrong".

This is incorrect. If his carrier hasn't officially pushed 10.2.0.1791, then it won't show any number if he does a security wipe. That number is directly pulled down from the carrier side somehow. I'm on Verizon and on 10.2 and it just says "No information available" after a security wipe.

Good guess but wrong. Did you hard reset after the wipe?

Ok.... I had software release even when this wasn't officially pushed out by any carrier. Some leaks have a software release number that goes along with it, regardless if a carrier has pushed it out.

I did not do a wipe. I don't want to lose my data, etc. Everything seems to be working fine. If it's just a cosmetic thing that the wrong software version is showing, I can live with that.

Let us know what happens when Verizon pushes the 10.2 update. Could be ugly for you. Again, I had the same issue after updating from 10.1 to 10.2. Did a security wipe and then the correct version was displayed.
