Odd texting issue
So I'm running 1152 on my Z10. Just from a few nights ago, I'm having an issue where when I want to respond to a text. It ends up taking up to 2 minutes for the text to load then when I go to type, after 1 letter it freezes again for a few more minutes. When I exit then come back, it allows me to type again but when I hit send, it freezes again. This time it doesn't even send the text. I normally have turn radio off to get the text to show then long press on the text to resend. This just started happening recently. I've done multiple restarts and all. Any advice?

Delete text thread...sounds like your texts are loading up and using all your ram memory...

I imagine text to be relatively easy to process with current day equipment. Sounds horrifying if it were true about the RAM.

I have noticed the same but it has to do with the indexing of your text messages. You should check it out during your backup, 15000+ text messages including images through mms yeah can be a load on any RAM with all other things you have running.
Simple fix delete the thread good to go

Listen, if iphone can have NO problem bringing up messages faster then instantaneously with only 1 gb of ram, there should be no reason why blackberry can't do so with 2 gb of ram.
Leads me to believe it's a software limitation that needs to be addressed. This Is the same for call logs. Why do i wanna watch it all load!

I've had this problem too, but it was only with one contact. I restored my device (I was on 10.3.1052) and when it finished restoring it said I was on .675 (which I nevr even had in the 1st place) no matter, everything has been running pretty well after that.

Every now and then my z10 just sits there for maybe 30 seconds sending a text message. I can receive no problem but it will sit there with the sending icon and then all of a sudden send everything at once if I had texted more than once since it got hung up. Been this wash since I bought the phone. It's so random I never really worried about it.
