    Hi!
I have a strange problem. I switched phones with my brother about 3 weeks ago. He's got my old white Q5, I've got his red Q5 now. Before changing, I backed-up my Q5 and after I got the new phone I loaded that backup on the new phone. I did all this using BB Link which never gave me any hassle, by the way.
Everything is working fine, it feels like I only changed the color of my phone except for one thing: on my new phone I get notifications every day, telling me to sign into my Candid account. I attached some screens to show what I mean.
The funny part is, I don't have a Candid account. I de-installed the app many months ago. How come these notifications show up now? How can I get rid of them?
Neither Sachesi nor the Chrome Plugin could find Candid on my phone. I even tried installing Candid and then de-installing it using the chrome plugin. It did not help. I then went on downloading the app and actually registering an account. Afterwards I deleted the app. The issue persists and I do get notifications daily.

Can anybody give some advice? I'd really like to avoid a complete wipe.
    Thanks in advance,
    -pac

Try installing Ghost Commander on your phone. Its an Android app manager and you may be able to see the offensive app using it. Then you can delete it permanently.

Candid is not an android app, nor a port. It's native. Will your approach still work?

If Candid is a native app as you state (looking on BlackBerry world it seems to be) then why did you install and remove using Chrome and Sachesi?
Why not try installing and removing using BBW?

Also, is there an account in the hub for Candid? If so try going into the hub settings and see if there's an account which can be deleted.

I did the first installing and de-installing in BBWorld. The only reason I tried it again in sachesi and chrome was because those notifications showed up again and again.

Candid does not show up as an account in the accounts of my BlackBerry. This is the most funny thing of all. I am being redirected to my accounts but Candid does not create an account that shows up there.

Hmm. How about going into your phone settings > notifications > applications > candid > all alerts > off.
If it exists, it might stop the alerts even if it doesn' t "clean" your phone.

After the wipe, did you have use you backup information or did you rebuild your information from scratch? Or did you do a partial backup?

I re-did everything from scratch. I don't know if a partial back up would do any good or if the issue would persist.

Correct, dont use BlackBerry link to restore because your backup is "contaminated".

That's what I figured. Well. The wipe was a pain. But it feels good to have a fresh system!
