So, could you give examples of what you find to be defective in the BB10 OS? For me it works great, so I'm curious to hear what's stopped working for others.

Facebook, apps in BBW that were dependent on Adobe Flash that the Dev gave up on after 10.2.1, Whatapp after June 2017, Android apps that require at least 4.4+ to run, native Bloomberg app for Passport users, banking apps with mobile pay options...

That's what I came up with in the first minute. I'm sure if I wanted to spend the time, that list would be much longer.

Those are all apps. Not BlackBerry's OS. If you want third party apps, BB10 is the wrong platform. But the core OS, with all the essential functions, has been great. Blackberry lost the marketshare war and support from app developers, but they are not dumping a defective product. That's a completely different issue.

So, you just named apps... I'm not sure if you are the same person the guy you are replying to was told by that apps wasn't all that is wrong with the OS, but if you were, then... smfh

I just scrolled up and he's not the same guy you were talking to before, so I guess he didn't really follow the conversation that closely, thus why he responded with exactly the most irrelevant response possible, lol.

There are many options for Facebook, WhatsApp still works, and it was never intend that you can use all Android apps on BB10.

Flash is no longer supported on mobile devices, Android, iOS and Windows Mobile included.

If you need some specific apps from Android, don't blame BB10 and just move on to an Android device.

You can re-post the Whatsapp complaint in June if there's no change. As for the banking apps, did it ever cross your mind that there may be security issues that BlackBerry could not address? A fingerprint scanner didn't find its way into a BlackBerry until the DTEK50, think about it.

You haven't been keeping up with the times if you were unaware that Adobe Flash was discontinued a couple of years ago. For everybody, not just BBOS 10. There are still some websites that use Flash but then again, there are still some Windows XP users out there too.

Sorry I made some errors in my original email. It was Adobe AIR, not flash. I lost a very important app for work. I don't have the luxury of telling my employer they need to change phones. I would like to get rid of my Classic if I could.

When all is said and done, I can't separate the OS from the app situation. They are linked together from my perspective.

    Lol, thanks. Didn't know that.

Noticed it yesterday due to one of the tutorials that pops up with arrows instructing how to do it.
