I don't use my phone for work but love my BlackBerry. Focusing on business makes sense for the company and doesn't impact me at all. I will continue to buy BlackBerry it does everything I need.

Hey there I'm actually still a student and love my Z30 for several reasons even though I'm not the main target of BlackBerry
First it runs very smooth and always does what it should ( had some different experiences with some Android phones^^) Furthermore it's absolutely great for typing and messaging.
Has very good Battery Life and several more.
    Go BlackBerry go

    Awesome = Z30

Same here! Prior to working for the Canadian government I had no experience with Blackberry's. I liked the Bold 9900 and then a Q5. Love the hub much better than ios notificatios. Now I am typing this from my Z30 which I bought for personal use after selling my iPhone 4.

Same!!! Student as well and I just enjoy using blackberry's. I rarely meet other 22 year olds who carry a blackberry, so it makes me stand out too! Plus I can't stand ios or windows phone, and android just isn't secure. I've tried everything, and blackberry's been my favorite! Wouldn't dream of switching to another OS permanently.

Security guard here. Just use my Z3 for messaging, email, social apps ect. Not at all a power user. Have tried android, ios, windows phone and now BlackBerry. The main reason I like this phone so much is that it makes my life easier. Oh and the hub...God bless the hub.

Hey I agree!! I'm a student also. I know blackberry is sort of putting the consumer market behind them but I am one of the very small minority that still purchases their devices. I'm a college student and I get chirped hard for my blackberry, and there's nothing I can do to even defend it haha. No one listens to what I have to say. Oh well. These phones are power houses, they keep me organized and on top of stuff. It's my little secret to success.

Thtats exactly it none of my friends own a BlackBerry but since I have one some got curious about it (hope I can persuade them to buy one ^^)
It`s just doing what Its supposed to do and more without failure and that`s what makes a good device in my opinion. It should just fulfill its purpose and not cause you any problems.

Since my niece got her Z10 I've asked her how her friends react to her having one when they all have Androids and iPhones. She tells me (and she's no phone freak like us lot) they can't believe the speed of how she can type and respond using the Hub. I only mention this because if you have sufficient basic app functionality (and there is in that age group more or less) then what matters isn't always what us oldies think it is.

I just found that response from her interesting.

I'm a student also, my Z10 is ideal for keeping me organized with school, receiving emails, trying and viewing documents, spreadsheets and PowerPoint. Creating presentations using BlackBerry express is also cool.

There's times when mine does get used a lot for work ( mainly talk and odd email / sending attachments) but I use it because it's so fast and efficient to use, especially when doing multiple things.

I started using Blackberry as a business user. I simply liked them, bought a Torch for my personnal used, added a Playbook 64 Gb over the time. I switched a year ago my Torch for a Z10. At the end of my present contract, will I switch to a Passport or Z 50, that is the question!

Student here. But I also switched from Android to BB10 development when BB10 came out (actually even before that!). I just feel you have to do too many steps for some simple thing on Android...

I agree. I started with BB OS Dev then went to Android. There is so much time spent messing around with little things.

I was just murdered by my friends for using a z30. I love the OS and hub. I just told them, "the hub is a helluva drug" and left it at that. I also called them wall huggers. Lol.

I am not a business person too. The day my Z10 arrived my brother was like "did you just waste all your money on this?!?!" after one week in which he occasionally checked it out he was like "you know what? I changed my mind about it", so yeah generally people I meet usually hate it at first but a lot of them change their opinion after seeing it in action.

Non-business user here. I'm studying and working part time in IT. Most of my friends are Android users and every single one of them has problems with phone. I use my Z10 like normal user, but faster and easier than they do mostly for check social websites but also to send tons of emails and keep track of my tasks.
