Is it normal to hear my voice and a bit of my background noise while in call with earphones? I thought it was a nice idea and stuff so that I could hear how loud I was speaking with earphones on but now I'm beginning to wonder if this is normal??
I'm using a blackberry passport.
I get that too when using my Bluetooth headphones, as stated I found it convenient also for the same reasons. Hope it is supposed to be there.

I have that too an it's so annoying for me. I hear myself more than the person I call, especially when I'm walking and the microphone is bouncing on my jacket.
I wish it wouldn't be there and hoped it was a software issue but even now on 10.3.2 it's still there.
Hate it so I rarely use headphones.
It happens to me with the oem blackberry earphones but not with a dua -microphone, noise-cancelling Bluetooth headset.

Does it happen with every call? I had that issue a lot with the Z10 and certain people putting me on speaker phone, it would echo my voice back to me. It's not normal and it's not supposed to be that way.

Does anyone then have a problem with audio quality from music or any other apps changing after taking a call with headphones? like after hearing your mic during calls?
Yeah, I love it tho... let's me know I'm being heard and makes me sound louder than I actually am

Well for me it can't be. Tried so many headsets, they all work fine on other phones but not with my Z30.
This is my second Z30 as well and both have the same problem.
