Is there an updated version that runs on BB10 based on the new apk that was leaked?

[Update: New Working Version] Nokia's HERE Maps For Android Beta APK Leaked, Works Fine On Non-Samsung Hardware
Doesn't work on my 10.3 Q10. When I start the app a message pops up saying that the app doesn't work on my device.

Did you side loaded the Nokia-store? Or via Snap?

Same here but it looks like someone molded the earlier version to work on our phones. Just wondering if some did the same for the newer version.

Coming from Lumia i'd love to have this app working on my Passport.
This one is actually just an encapsulated version of Here.com. Nothing to do with the real stuff.

In the meantimes, I installed NavFree from BB World which is actually pretty cool. Enables you to download maps for offline navigation as well and based on OSM

Have anyone got this to work?

I read someone got the mapping features to work and were just unable to sign in to their Nokia account otherwise it works as normal.

    True? Screenshots?

My experience has been that you can download the app, get the HERE Maps icon but it doesn't open.

There are 2 apk files : the real one, around 30 MB, which simply does not work and one around 2 MB which is only the mobile website encapsulated. For this last one, the sign in process does not work indeed, but you'll only need to add a web shortcut on your homescreen to get it working really

    Thanks!

In that case simply bookmarking their website works as well if not better. The Nokia Maps mobile website is quite good.

    Thanks again!

Or you can try native Nmaps from BlackBerry World. The app calls the here maps website. But without top and bottom browser bar:

Don't think audio directions (turn by turn voice prompts) work.

Also, I don't like how the addressbar does not have auto-complete feature.

In Google Maps and BlackBerry Maps, it auto completes as you start typing. Eg: 2000 Yo... and it'd show you results like 2000 Yonge St, Toronto. But NMAPS doesn't seem to be able to do that.

Audio directions and auto complete works for me. Audio directions does not work for long distances. Auto complete is not as good as google auto complete.

It says "unfortunately this app doesn't work on this device " when you open the app (plus doesn't show on snap)
A message like this means Nokia blacklisted BlackBerry from the app

Nokia can do this? How can they cherry pick what Android compatible device the software will work on?

Easy, just check for the manufacturer. That's why it doesn't show on snap.
Right now is unclear if they blacklisted only BlackBerry or if they white listed only some manufacturers, like Samsung

This sucks. If they are going to make an Android app, why blacklist whose Android. Should just check for Android os version compatibility. Not which brand of hardware it's running on.

It's like Adobe saying, we have photoshop it requires Windows 7 on HP desktops. If you have windows 7 on a Dell desktop, it won't run.

    Such amazing stupidity.

    "Hi *******

Unfortunately, the HERE app does currently not support Blackberry Android variants.

Guess that sums it up. Wierd
