neither for TELCEL, Mexico
Shame OP, I keep checking my BF's all the time, still no update.
And I noticed you guys haven't gotten the .99 update for 10.0 either. Which Vodacom got a while back and I know CellC got it as well.
I must say I was pleasantly shocked to see that Vodacom released the update so quickly and in time.
Have you contacted MTN at all to find out why they are dragging their feet?

I haven't been in the mood yet to get bounced around from department to department. MTN is really annoying. And I understand that they charge extra for LTE. That is if it ever gets rolled out in Cape Town lol

I gave up yesterday with waiting for MTN to release the update. Installed the leaked version and seems to be working fine. I do want to give MTN a call to find out why it hasnt been released yet. I would prefer running the official release. But just to check, can someone on an updated vodacom Z10 please tell me if all the following versions are correct to confirm that the leaked OS is the same as the official release? Found under settings > about > OS
Software Release : 10,1,0,273
OS Ver: 10,1,0,1720
Build ID: 508730
Flash Player Ver: 11.1.121.147
AIR Ver: 3,1,0,147
Crypto Kernel Ver: 5,6,2,44391
WLAN Ver: 1,1
Radio Ver: 10,1,0,1721
Webkit Ver: 10,1,0,2381
Browser Ver: 10,1,0,65
Thanks

I wouldn't focus to much on LTE, since we all have STL100-1, which are not capable of LTE.
But I don't have any speed or signal complaints :)

I suggest to use link. I don't know if it makes a difference what network phone it is (when you off the phone it normally displays the carrier picture), but take out the sim, take out the battery, connect to link and chose reload software. You'll get one of the official SA OSs, if MTN even plan on modifying the radio part of the OS which I don't think they'll do, you'll maybe have a slightly better optimised radio file for SA if either of the other networks modified the file. (which again im not sure if they did)

Vodacom seems to push the OS updates amazingly fast, which I'm really happy about.
My only real problem is actually to get to update, since I don't have wi-fi the only other option I have is to do it via BB Link, but the update keeps bombing out!!
We have wifi, but lovely Telkom bombs out for a few seconds every now and then. I rarely can complete even a 100MB download in go. What will happen if midway through the update my wifi dips?

I should add that they "Don't have any problems". But we can barely watch a YT video on a pc at 240P without it buffering...

Doing it that way is better then OTA with wifi anyway, so just keep trying.
The first time I tried on my device, it also bombed out then tried again, and all went well.
Also make sure you have the most up to date version of link software, that will also make a big difference

Lol switch to Vodacom, I got it the same time it was released or a couple minutes after

I have the STL100-2 with LTE in South Africa since the 24 of April but the connection is sometimes lost so I switch back to 3G
