If you can get video to play through a web browser, then you may be able to take advantage of the playon feature for full screen play from the q10 or Passport

I've tried that using the free preview for Hockey Streams, which is browser based much like youtube. It looks amazing on the Q10's screen, but when I output it using an HDMI cable and "Play On", it looks blurry...like 480p on the big screen.

I called NHL support after I couldn't log into my account.... they say BlackBerry doesn�t support live streaming anymore.... Mr.Chen doe you not give a **** about hockey or Bobby Orr? This is an absolute outrage..... the great Canadian pastime not available on what I thought was the great Canadian phone!!!!

Not true But they have no app for BlackBerry. I guess you try the one from the Android store ? Better stick with the browser :


If you use the fullscreen of the flash player they have, you will have a distorted video (on Q10 anyway) :


But you can always just double tap the player to have the good ratio :

The problem is outputting on HDMI still doesn't give you full HD :/

Yes, it's a limitation of their flash player. I wonder if it can be tricked with another user-agent... Can you test with the Desktop Mode enabled in the browser? I see also a "quality=high" option in the player but no interface for it...

I just tried to launch GCL on the browser, but as I'm running 10.3.1.1151 I don't think it has Flash in the browser as of now...

No 10.3 here.... could only watch video highlights on the Android app... would crash with live streaming ... pretty bad still that Rogers won't support BlackBerry App for Nhl... it was much nicer to use... needless to say I cancelled my Rogers package and switched to Bell for hd tv of nhl games... may try the android slingbox app ant try watching that way

If they're saying that live streaming isn't possible they're full of *#&@, it used to work in the past and on the GameCenter Live bb10 official app worked amazingly!

Want to watch hockey games for free? Well follow these steps!!
ONLY WORKS ON OS10.3.1.1949 ( let me know if it works on other os )

Step 1: Download cracked .apk from https://mega.co.nz/#!ZVxznKAR!l7AqEZ...-UTjVZX7EMvCIo
Step 2: Transfer cracked .apk to device, using USB cable, or if using emulator just click and drag
Step 3: Open the app, agree to terms of services, not now on geolocation, pick favourite team
Step 4: Click "watch" under the desired game, it will ask to log in, just click sign in and it will say it was successful
Step 5: Click "watch" again and now you can enjoy nhl gamecenter live on your android device!!!!

I've got it downloaded and signed in on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.1154, I'll update tonight once one of the games start!

Update:

Okay so after testing your exact procedure, it's working like a charm and can live stream the games fully on my BlackBerry10 device! So happy finally I can get back to watching them on the go or when I don't have my laptop!

Will update on whether the regionless patch is working or not around 10pm est! (leafs shouldn't work for me if it's regioned)

Also, curious where you found that method and file?
