Hey guys! The 10.3.1 is officially rolling out in the first week of feb so just wait for approximately 10 days. I've been going through the forums and I can see some people who can't wait. We all have been waiting since April last year. So why not wait for another 10 days??

People are gonna do what they wanna do man. Chill. I been telling people to avoid leaks for years because of the issues with some of them and I'm pretty sure not a single person has listened ever. They're the same people who come back posting 'why doesn't this work?', 'how come this is broke?' etc etc. I believe you yourself have run into the same thing lol.

I would install a leak even if I knew for sure that an OTA update was coming in 2 days . I have WAAAY too much time on my hands and don't care if it screws up my phone---I know I can get it back "right" with more time spent. I just NEVER expect a leak to be perfect! Plus I also have a z10 tester.

As long as you have everything in the cloud (contacts, calendar, email), have your media on an sd card, and sync your remember with Evernote, there's no risk.

If you don't like the new leak, then just run your autoloader of choice.

Those of us installing leaks are usually technically inclined and able to resolve many issues or at least locate the answers we need to resolve. I agree, those that still have the flashing vcr clock should stay away from leaks, and by some of the questions asked here there are a lot of them.

ps. hope your vcr clock is not flashing.

We installed leaks because our current builds were unstable as all hell. People expect a stable release on their phone and it is not the case they hunt for one that is stable.

Well, unless it's a late stage leak, I would think people generally install them for new features - not stability.

But it doesn't mean I have to stop installing leaks because it's coming in few days or so. As long as there's new one around I will load them anytime I'd like to. That's what we're here for, aren't we?

We love leaks. We love new OS leaks or not. We love to explore new stuffs, features and apps - even though we know there's nothing new we still load them. At least it's one of the reason why we're for. Like Bla1ze said, people are gonna do what they wanna do.

I think it's amazing to have the choice to install leaks.

My first smartphone was an iPhone and everyone was so into "jailbreak" and it gave the consumer some control and customization.

The Z10 is my first BlackBerry and the experience with installing something before it has been released has something exciting about it.

With that said, thank you for letting me know that it should be released in the first week of February! I was worried that it would be at the end of February or worse.... delayed again....

We don't know for sure if 10.3.1.2072 will be the official OS, but there have been some hints that it is.

If so, it will be identical to the leak. Any changes would generate a new number.

Hard to say. A lot of the problems being reported are from people that have progressed through all of the various leaks, backing up and restoring along the way - always problematic particularly when you're fooling around with leaks.

I'm afraid we'll never see 10.3.1 on Verizon and when I try to call someone on the leak I randomly get "the network is busy. Try again later." Later is after airplane mode off airplane mode on. The 1005 radio seems to help that but it has issues with text. Might have to try the 969 radio or whatever number that was.
