    It's probably too late to change anything but has anyone read about the latest CIA scandal? Wikileaks published information indicating that the CIA can hack into any android phone at any time.

    A Chen-lead company couldn't have done it but it seems a securer OS would have appeal to many people.

    Didn't Chen come in AFTER BB10 was already grievously late?

    Obviously, the "securer OS" wasn't all that important because after the introduction of BB10 Blackberry went into a downward spiral of losing customers.

    That's not exactly what was reported.

    We don't know which specific models were vulnerable, how the zero day software gets on the device, how hardening may or may not of helped, and how many of these exploits have already been patched.
