Contacts names lost replaced by numbers

This update has really messed up my contacts. Some have no name but a number some of which look like a birth date. I cant even fix the contact as it will not give a name category just a company name. Anyone have this problem? I am on a Z10, stl100-3 on bell.

Mine Z10/STL 2/(hong Kong version) china mobile network . I'm disappointed after upgraded official 10.2.0.1791,(424) sometimes having apps freeze, hitting app no responses and dropping (public) wifi network.i did hard reset.i refer leaked OS 10.2.0.1791 is stable, and before no such defects occurred.hope that BlackBerry look into these bugs And fix it.

Having that issue on my SQN100-3.
Everytime I correct it, I get duplicates.

I gave the instructions to Michael Clewley and even posted a thread on here with the procedure to fix the Android app closing/crashing issue. Easy one.

I used my Z10 to create this CrackBerry madness!

My real gripe right is that my BBM contacts aren't showing up in my contact folder. I link a contact to their BBM and the pictures aren't showing up in my contact folder. Pissing me off right now....

To be honest, the leaks have been more stable. I think if I erased my phone and just readded my accounts it would be fine. It's only messed around since the OTA update.

I bet BlackBerry test with wiped devices too.

Guys please HELP asap im in limbo, on monday the (4th Nov 2013) i updated my software to 10.2 on my BB Z10 and the contacts app hasn't linked up with anything facebook, twitter, BBM, LinkedIn and the most important is Gmail {this holds all my friends, families, colleaques etc mobile numbers} i dont none of my contact...when i go to my contact app it says "add contact" and when i try to add the contact is not saved and therefore not retrievable...it just constantly says "add contact" and i need my contact, for work purposes and social life !

ISSUES:
Same issues as posts 4, 7, 62, 87, 93, 145, and 163. Text messages take a very very long time to load, sometimes dont load at all until a restart is done. Then a few hours later it will do it again. This was fine with the berry leak from 10.2.1791 I believe which had no issues. Cannot click another user to send a text message as it only shows the first person you clicked that is trying to load. All other functions work on the Blackberry such as email, BBM, phone, etc.

Update: After a long period of time the text message thread does appear and allow's you to see full thread and send messages

sideloaded the 3 bar files, and immediately the lag went away and was able to reply without issue. Borov5 thanks for the bar files and fix!!!

Finally after a while, most of my issues are gone.

A "real" issue seems to be that the default setting when writing an email is gone. That my number is always shown as UNKNOWN (in the phone app, but not to the party I called)

How default apps work (for maps, music) is still not clear.
The messed-up contacts have to be reorganised manually

BUT all other stuff (slow text messages, contact not shown when I received a call, sometimes white calendar) seemed to be gone after the OS settled in for 1wk (7 DAYS!!! After 5 days I still had the issue that contacts are not retrieved when I received a call)

All-in-all : That?s fine BUT it should be mentioned more clearly that after the update it takes a while before the OS is fully functional to avoid disappointment

The problem I'm seeing is my z10 still has 10.1.0.2039 and it's still telling me I have the latest software

Do you mean App Data?, There is no App Settings tab, only App Data & Settings

1. When I want to write an sms, I have to wait 1-3 minutes for the history to appear and the sms app to respond to my key presses

2. Many times when I go to hub, it is blank and the "working" circle in the top right of the screen si rotating.

Can only text 5% of the time. Other times it's just the keyboards and shows the same contact for everyone and won't send. Z10 with mts
