I saw the squircle! Go to this link: http://demos.blackberry.com/blackber...ser-Basics.3gp and go to 1:47 where it appears when they open Reader Mode of the browser.

I hope they have it in more than just the reader mode. I was looking at the other videos on the website. Saw a couple of the new dark circle, but so far only Squircle in reader mode. Could that be just overlooked in the OS, or are they trying to wean the Squircle onto the masses? Start with the reader mode, next the whole OS?

Really, what difference does it make if it's not there? Your BlackBerry will still be a BlackBerry. Although it is pretty neat, and totally unique.

Difference is its "pretty neat, and totally unique."

Creates a branding effect, a feeling of being special, different or something like that. The fact that the subject is being discussed is proof that people have an emotional attachment to it. What that attachment is will be different from one person to the next but regardless the Squircle has created an emotional outcry for its return.

And no it doesn't need to be rational to be real. Hell look at IPhone people like them and that is completely irrational and down right crazy!

The Squircle will eventually consume all iPhone users and convert them to BlackBerry users. Another reason why there is so much bad publicity against BlackBerry. Apple is scared of the Squircle.
